The next few months, were...kinda perfect. Patton found it nice to have someone walk with him, talk with him, Remus looked at Patton like he was the sun! And Patton loved the attention, for once.

Berry Kingdom was cold, almost always snowing. Patton was used to it and wrapped himself in scarfs and gloves, Remus came prepared with a cloak and leather gloves, and when Patton saw him at the door he drug him inside and sat him by the fire, starting on proper fur-lined clothing to keep his suitor warm.

"All these visits and you still don't come dressed correctly,"

"I thought it would be warmer," Patton laughs, sitting on his knees, resting his head on Remus' thigh, the fire warm and comforting, a blanket over the two.

Patton thought them exclusive, after all their 'suitoring' had turned into dating and the next step was marriage, and their would be no reason for other...options now.

But Remus was full of suprises, inculding less pleasent ones, he wasn't happy to find Remus sneaking around with a knight.
