Keigo walked into the kitchen with Rumi, who walked to the closest to grab some cleaning supplies before leaving again. He went over to the sink where Izuku was leaning against the counter, seemingly lost in thought.

He set the dishes down in the sink, gaining the younger's attention. He smiled at Izuku before begining to do the dishes, the boy moving to help (which he refuses to admit he needed.) When they had finished, Izuku turned to him. Keigo gave him a second as he hesitated on what he wanted to say.

What are we doing today?

The kid seemed unsure as to whether or not he was allowed to ask, "Who knows. My guess is the others will likely want to get to know you more."

The boy seemed to pale slightly, like he didn't really like the thought of that, but Keigo knew first hand that people like him prefered to have all the facts beforehand instead of being shoved into something.

Izuku followed him as he shrugged off the counter he was leaning on and left the kitchen, making his way to the living room. "So, what were you looking at earlier?"

...You have a family of Onaga living in the tree outside the window.

That was surprising. He hadn't seen any, and he rather prided himself on how many different bird species he knew. Keigo took note of this though. The kid seemed to like the outdoors, it would be a good thing to keep in mind.

When they made it to the living room he took in the others already in there. The room itself was large, with rich oak wood and many windows. The couch in the center of it was shaped like a right angle and covered two sides of the coffee table the was placed in the middle of the furniture. Two chairs with a small table in between them made up one side and the final side was covered by a pair of gray bean bag chairs that matched the other furniture.

Most of them were on the couch, although Mirko sat on a bean bag and Fatgum took up one of the chairs. He opted to flop on the other bean bag and watched as Izuku curled up in the chair out of the corner of his eye. The kid hugged his legs to his chest and let his chin rest on top of his knees.

Everyone was quiet for a bit, thinking of what to say, before Izuku (surprisingly) decided to start.

You know, you never did tell me your names.

They paused. "Oh my gosh." Sir Nighteye a said, placing his head in his hand.

The others look just as exasperated and Mirko smacked her forehead, just realizing.

Aizawa sighed, "I apologize. I'm Aizawa Shota, this is my husband Yamada Hizashi. Endeavor is Todoroki Enji, bird brain is Takami Keigo, and bunny over there is Usagiyama Rumi. Green bean is Sasaki Mirai, that's Toyomitsu Taishiro, and skinny is Yagi Toshinori." Each person raised there hands at the metion of there name. Some glaring at him for the nicknames they'd been given.

Izuku nodded. You already know mine.

The heros nodded as Yamada spoke up, "So, what do ya like to do little listener?" If the kid was surprised by the nickname, he didn't show it.

The boy in question just shrugged. Disappointing, but not surprising. "You did the garden outside the orphanage right?" Sasaki (Nighteye) asked. The kid nodded. "So you like gardening?"

He nodded again, I enjoy being outside.

"How come?" Toyomitsu (Fatgum) asked. "Not that it's a bad thing, it's great actually, but most kids rather be inside than out nowadays."

Izuku nodded and thought for a moment. It feels less constricting, like I can breathe after being suffocated for so long.

That's quite the analogy. Keigo decided to speak next, "What grade are you in?"

Izuku frowned, I've never been to school.

"That doesn't make any sense, they have to send you to school, it's against the law not to." Yagi said.

Izuku scoffed, I'm quirkless, remember? No one cared.

They weren't a fan of that comment, and it showed, but they let it slide.

"You seem rather smart though." Todoroki piped up.

I've gotten ahold of quite a few text books in the time I've been alive. Decided to learn on my own.

That was impressive, and by the looks of it, he did a pretty good job. The kid shivered. "Ya cold?" Rumi asked. Good lord she was turning into the kids mother (he could probably use one though).

.......a bit. It's not a big deal.

Toyomitsu shrugged and got up, "Me too, it's pretty chilly in here." He walked over to a closet and grabbed a blanket, tossing it over to where he was sitting before grabbing a bunch (much it Izuku's confusion), walked over, and dumped them on the kid. The others laughed at his "oof".

He popped up out of a hole on top. Really?

The others laughed. He looked annoyed but Keigo could tell he liked the multitude of blankets (they figured he would, based on the crazy amount on his bed). Thus was proven when he snuggled into them anyway, letting only his face pop out. They had to physically restrain themselves from daunting over the adorable sight.

The room dissolved into unimportant idle chatter, letting Izuku have a break from all the questions.

...

The warmth and calming background noise soothed Izuku, made him very tired. He didnt remember the last time he felt this safe (probably never), which was weird since he barely new these people. He felt his eyes begin to close. During the night he had startled awake many times, getting out of bed one them, which was why he had just flopped on top of the blankets instead of laying under them like beforehand.

It was better than his normal nights, where he didn't sleep at all, but it meant he was still pretty tired when he was woken up. He found his mind begining to drift and quicky shook his head, blinking a few times in order to stay awake.

It didn't work very well though, as he felt himself fall asleep, and for once welcoming it. He didn't know why, but for the first time ever he felt like he could, like he didn't have to worry about what would happen when he wakes up.
