"I'll protect you always, okay?" I said to Amity who was leading on my shoulder after crying for a hour about her and Luz breaking up.

"Okay. And I'll always protect you."

"I kept my promise Amity. But I'm now paying the price for it." I said to myself looking out my window. It's been three months since she flew away.

"(Y/n) you have a letter." I looked down at my bedroom door from the 3rd floor of my bedroom.

"Oh hunter!" I jumped down from the third floor and landed softly on my feet with the help of magic.

"You could've taken the stairs." He said to me and I took the letter from his hands.

"Yeah but that's not any fun." I opened it.

Dear (y/n),
I bet you didn't expect a letter from me, but I'm safe. And your palismen is too. I'm hiding in a village two islands away from the boiling isles. I miss you.

"Why are you crying?" Hunter asked me and I wiped my tears away. "Shes safe." I sighed.

"Wait! She's safe! I need to see her!" I started to leave my room before hunter stopped me.

"Your crazy. You father will kill you."

"I don't care! Sure I'm crazy, but I love her. And I want to see her!" I yelled while he threw me over his shoulder and took me back into my room. I was kicking a screaming so he dropped me.

"Your so mean to me Hunter!" I pouted and he laughed. "I'm your cousin, it's kinda my job to be mean. Plus you outted me to your father."

"And? You and Edric are dating now." He rolled his eyes.

"Hes the one who gave me the letter from Amity to give to you."

"Well tell him I said thank you, when your not making out with him." I started laughing as my cousin's face got very red.

"Shut up. And stay in your room like your supposed too" He walked out and closed my door.

I sighed a walked over to it and lucked it. I put my forehead to the door.

"Maybe if I wish hard enough, my father well love me, and my mother will come home." I said to Amity. We were sitting under a tree, shes drawing something but I can't see what. She moves her drawing pad from her lap and pats her lap telling me to lay down.

When I lay my head on her lap, she runs her fingers through my hair. "I'm sure your father loves you. And I'm sorry about your mother. But I'm here and I love you." She said a smiled at me. She leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"I'll always be here for you from now on."

I open my eyes and hit my wall with my fist. The guards break down my door. "Princess are you okay?" They asked me.

"I'm fine just leave me alone!" I cried and they left fixing my door. I fell to my knees and kept crying.

"I HATE YOU DAD!" I screamed and I heard the guards laughing. I open my doors and looked at them. I started walking to the throne room. I opened the doors and saw a brunch of men standing around, talking to each other and some talking to my father. Everyone stopped when I opened the doors and all the men bowed down. I walk straight to my dad.

"I hate you! For everything you've done to me! You say your protecting me but I don't even know what it's like to be a teenager! For fucks sake I'm only 18, you should be letting me live my life, not worry about marriage or offsprings.  I don't even want to have kids dad! The male body makes me sick! What you did to me and Amity was sick and heartless. If you actually loved me then you'd let me be with who I want!" I yelled at him and he only stood there in silence.

"Now is that any way to talk to me in front of all of these men waiting to be your husband?" My jaw dropped.

"Okay so your fine with hunter liking boys but I can like girls?"

"Thats different! Your the princess!"

"And I have to be perfect?" I cut him off. "Perfect in everything, right? Grades? Looks? The way I dress? Even who I like?" I asked him.

I looked at everyone in the room.

"You all can go home, none of you fit my standards," I said to them and the guards took them all away.

"(Y/n), my daughter I do love you." My dad tried to hug me but I pushed him away.

"Then why did you try to arrest Amity? She didn't do anything wrong. I love her out of my own free will, I have since I started going to Hexside."

"She put some kind of spell on you to make you think your gay. But your not."

"Oh will you pull the stick out of your ass!? She didn't put a spell on me, just face the facts, I'm a lesbian! I like girls! I won't marry a man! Your justmad because I found someone who loves me and who I love, because you and mom didn't have any love for each other!"

"Go to your room!"

"No! I've been in there for the last three months! I've changed my room around 5 times, painted all of my walls, and read every book in there!"

"Then I'll get you more books, your staying in there till I can trust that whatever spell that girl put on you is gone."

"Your the worst father ever. No wonder mom left." I walked away from him and used my magic to keep the guards away from me.
