"Amity! Wait for me!" I yelled and ran over to her.

"Oh hey (y/n)." She gave me a soft smile.

"What I don't get a kiss anymore?"

"I got a girlfriend, while you were away."

"What?" I asked in disbelief.

"Her name is Luz."

"The human that lives with the owl lady?"

"How did you know that?"

"I have my ways of knowing things."

"Thats weird. But I don't think we should be friends anymore. It would make things weird for me. Bye" She walked away from me, leaving me in tears.

I woke up in my bed. Amity. I get up and ran out of the Palace only for the guards to stop me.

"I need to see my friend let me go!" I yelled before I heard someone clear their throat.

"Young lady, this is not how you'll act on your wedding today." My father said to me.

"Excuse me?" I said looking at him like he's dumb.

"Guards let my daughter go, she needs to get ready." My father said then started walking away. I ran next to him and stopped him.

"Wedding day?! I haven't even picked someone to marry."

"You don't need to pick. I've picked the best fit for you, and since you seem to like Blights, I thought you could marry the blights only boy. Edric.

"OH HELL NO!" I yelled.

"I'm friends with him! And I wouldn't do that to Hunter." I covered my mouth.

"What did you say?"

"Hunter likes Edric, please don't tell him I said that please."

"So Hunters is gay?" My father asked me.

"Yes," I asked.

"Oh well then I guess you can't marry Edric. Hunter will." My jaw dropped.

"Your okay with hunter being gay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Your the princess you can't like girls!" My father yelled at me.

"But I really like her!" I cried to him.

"No, I forbid it!"

"I hate you! I wish mom was here! She'd be happy about it!" I yelled and ran to my room.

"I don't know maybe because when I told you I had a crush on a girl in my class you flipped put about it, and yesterday is another great example."
