Ranzell and I chose to eat here in Tita Alice cafe. Since we are not really that hungry pa naman.

“So...”

I look at him with my raise brows.
“So what?”

“Ex mo yung Rafael?” he asked.

Kanina bago kami pumunta ng mall ay nang galing kami sa bahay nina Ricca. Since it's her graduation party and most of our friends and batch mates are there, I happened to see Rafael in there, my ex.

“W-well...yeah, when I was in grade nine..”

Tumaas ang kilay niya atsaka uminom ng tubig.

“Don't tell me your jealous of him?” natatawang tanong ko.

“Bakit? Mahal mo ba siya?” he asked, smirking.

My brows furrowed.
“What? Of course not..” nakangiwing sabi ko.

“Ako ang mahal mo..bakit ako mag seselos?” mayabang na tanong niya.

“Whatever...” sabi ko atsaka pairap na inalis ang tingin sa kaniya.
“Let's not talk about my exes...” I said.

He chuckled then continue eating. We ate in a comfortable silence.

“Are you excited for college? After this almost two months vacation we are off to college already.” I said.

He nod his head then smile.
“I am excited...because two more months then we are on our first year” he said, staring at me.

My lips slightly parted. Two months more then it's our first year anniversary. I am excited.

“Me too..” I said smiling.
“But I am talking about college sweetheart. Studies first, let's flirt later.”

I pursed my lips when he laughed so hard at my remark. Natawa na lang din tuloy ako kasi nakakatawa yung tawa niya.

“Don't you want to go to the same school with Xavier?” Dad asked.

I am cooking some carbonara when he entered the kitchen. He came home early today though he said that Mom is still in the office for an important meeting sa isang investors.

I looked at him. The university that Xavier chose is different from mine. Meron din namang offer ng HRM dun..but STI is one of the best school I know that offers this kind of course.

“I'm just...worried about you. If Xavier is there, he can-”

“Dad, I am old enough to decide and protect myself....so don't worry, okay?” I said.

I know that he is only worried about me. But I doesn't mean that I would let him stop me from taking the course that I want.

He sighed then nod his head. I smiled then continue cooking again. He sniff then smile.

“What's that?” he asked.

I smiled.
“Carbonara...do you want some po?”

He smiled then nod.
“Of course...” he said.

I took two plates from the cabinet. I place it on the kitchen counter.

“Smells good...” he said.

“Taste good as well...” nakangising sabi ko.

We both eat the carbonara together with a smile on our faces. I feel so contented and it feels so nice.

“This is even better than your Mom's cooking..” natatawang sabi ni Dad.

I chuckled.
“Isusumbong kita kay Mommy...”
