CHAPTER 21

Days turn to months and months passed by like a glimpse. The school year ended well for me. My grades are surprisingly high. Ranzell is also doing good in his studies. Xavier and Ranzell are both in the same block so I am more relieve about those girls who will try to take him away from me.

As for me and Ranzell, we are already on our second year of being together.

“Xavier...until when do you plan to stay like this?” I asked then looked around his room full of can beers and garbages.

I sighed then turn to him again. He look so wasted. He didn't say anything and just stare at nowhere. Something happened between Syndy and him. I don't know the whole story but Syndy run away, she left him.

“I w-want her b-back...” he said lowly.

I bit my lip. Nakaramdam ako ng awa para sa kaniya. I sighed then sat down beside him on the floor.

“Do you think....she will want you back if she sees you like this?” I asked.
“Xavier...you are so fucked up right now.  If you want to win her back, then be better.”

I stayed there for a few minutes. Tita Alice is really worried about him so I did make a visit. I just watch him cry silently. He really is in so much pain right now. He mirrors Ryken's mood when Kath and him broke up. My poor cousins.

I am getting so anxious all of a sudden. If ever that I will experience the same thing as them, can I handle it? Can I lose the only person who truly cares and love me? If Ranzell and I split up, what will happen to me? Will I be like Xavier and Ryken?

After that, I went home occupied by my thoughts. I sighed then just decided to cook some spicy fried chicken. I also made some cheesy lasagna. I texted Ranzell to come over so he can taste it.

Minutes later, he arrived. I bit my lip and just stare at him as he walk towards me. He look so fresh wearing his white shirt and jagger pants. His hair is still wet. He has this piercing in his ear and a silver necklace.

“Hi...” I greeted.
“Did I disturb you or something?”

He smiled then shook his head. He place a soft kiss on my lips before sitting down beside me.

“Mamaya ko na gagawin yung report ko..wala naman na akong klase mamaya.” he answered.

“I still have a class later...” nakangusong sabi ko.

I have a five pm class every Wednesday. It ends at seven.

He smiled.
“Ako na lang maghahatid sayo...”

I smiled then nod my head. Marunong na siyang mag drive ng kotse. Kuya Jude taught him. It was actually much better, para we don't need to disturb Kuya Jude pa to take us somewhere and it would be hassle naman if we will commute.

“Bakit mo nga pala ako pinapunta dito?” he asked.
“Miss ko ako?” nakangising tanong niya.

I smiled at him sweetly before rolling my eyes.
“Asa pa you..” I said making him chuckle.

I really miss him.

“Taste this...” I said then put the fried chicken and the lasagna in front of him.

I chuckled when I saw how his eyes twinkle when he saw the chicken. He really loves it.

He immdiately took a chicken and take a bite. I sat down and watch him eat.

“What do you think?” I asked.

He thumbs up first and nod his head.
“I love you...” nakangiting sagot niya.
