Chapter Eleven

(Delilah's Pov)

  I woke up the next morning to Collin's alarm and groaned loudly over the stupid alarm, making Collin wake up to turn off his alarm.

 "Sorry love, I got to get to the stage for soundcheck but I'll be back and we can spend the rest of the day together." Collin said with a smile making me look up at him and smile back.

    As the door closed behind Collin, I got up and started getting ready for the day and got my camera ready to take pictures for the guys website. I made sure I had enough space in my camera and started deleting pictures off of it. I grabbed my camera bag and my press pass and stuffed it into my day bag. Sighing, I swung my bags over my shoulder and grabbed my room key heading out the door.

 "Alright Delilah, time to show the world you are not to be messed with." I said to myself as I locked the door behind me.

As I walked down to the lobby, I saw that it was really crowded for eight in the morning, people must be getting ready to enjoy their trip before they have to go home. I knew what I needed desperately and that was coffee. I walked down the streets of  New York City to look for any sort of small café or Starbucks, anything that had coffee. It was the last day of tour and I wasn't stoked to go back home but at least I have an apartment to go back to though.

  As I walked down the street, I thought about how I would get a job because no way in hell was I going back to the record shop and deal with harassment yet again. I looked up and saw a Starbucks and I smiled up at it.

 'I'll deal with that when I get back to Philadelphia but for now I need to worry about the present.' I thought to myself and I opened the door of the Starbucks.

  The smell of coffee wafted in the air and I felt like I was home in my apartment when I turned on the coffee pot. The barista greeted me and I smiled at her kindly.

*20 minutes later*

 I walked out the door, coffee in hand and walked towards the venue. Collin greeted me with a smile and I smiled back at him as he came over giving me a sweet kiss on the lips. Walking over to the rest of the guys who were standing around talking. I walked over to Dallas and he smiled at me giving me a big hug, Dallas and I have become best friends over the course of the tour.

"Hey there what are you doing here so early?" Dallas asked and I smiled and punching his shoulder.

"My job, figured you guys would like some goofy photos for your website. Might just show people how much emotion you really have if they see outside of just a concert." I replied to him and Dallas had a very thoughtful look.

 Collin came over to us and wrapped an arm around my waist and gave me a small kiss before going on stage. I smiled as the boys tuned their instruments and started to play Diamond a new song they wrote, to be honest it made me dance because of how catchy it was. As the boys played, I took photos for the website and Collin looked over at me giving me the goofiest smile I think was natural.

"You look beautiful today." Collin said to me and I blushed at the comment looking down at my feet.

 Collin walked offstage and over to me and I smiled up at him. I raised my camera up to my eye and snapped the photo of Collin, he laughed as I looked at how the picture came out.

"I hope you know, that I'm very proud of you." Collin whispered as I looked back up at him shocked.

"Collin, where is all this coming from?" I asked and he stared down at his shoes.

"After the hospital I was so scared I would lose you. That you would never wake up again." Collin said, I was speechless.

  I didn't know what to say, I'd never seen Collin like this before. I was speechless, what happened to me must have really tore him up badly. What happened while I was asleep?

"Collin, I'm here now and alive at that." I replied to him and he looked up at me giving me a small smile.

 "Why don't we go get some lunch to get our minds off of it, its not healthy to think like that. We can go get ice cream after, my treat." I told him happily and Collin's smiled more making him laugh a little bit.

 After practice the boys all went back to the hotel while Collin and I went out to lunch, as I walked by Dallas he gave me a thumbs up and I smiled at him. Collin met me outside the venue, taking my hand in his I smiled at the small gesture.

"So, where did you want to go to lunch?" Collin asked after a quiet moment of looking around the city.

   I looked at him and thought about what I wanted to go, it was a tough decision because I could really go for anything.

"How about, Chinese food?" I asked, it was always my go to when I didn't know what I wanted.

 Collin smiled and we looked for a restaurant, we finally came to some little hole in the wall sitting down in a booth and looking over the menu. The waitress came over, taking  our drink orders then left for the kitchen, leaving Collin and I in a comfortable silence. I knew what I wanted, putting my menu to the side I took my napkin and started drawing on it.

"What are you drawing?" Collin asked and I looked up at him.

"Just a sunflower." I replied showing him the drawing, I'd had a tattoo idea for awhile just didn't know where to put it.

  Collin looked over the drawing and smiled adorably at me taking the drawing and added some lyrics to it, I knew what the lyric was, it was a lyric from my great grandmothers favorite Elvis Presley song Cant Help Falling In Love With You. Collin and I had talked about my great grandma and how much she meant to me, I realized I wanted this as a tattoo.

 "Oh my god, Collin you're a genius!" I exclaimed as I looked over at him making him smile more.

"Well, I remembered how much you loved your great grandma and how much time you spent with her." Collin replied and I smiled at him warmly.

 Our drinks finally came and we ordered our food waiting in comfortable silence again waiting for our food.

 Hey guys sorry its taken so long to write this chapter, I have had a lot of big changes in my life that I don't even know what to do with so I'm so sorry its taken so long to write lately. I've had massive writers block and I overcame it so please be patient with me as I write.I'll try and dish out the next chapter soon. My brain box has been fried recently lol.
