Forever Yours (A Collin Walsh Fanfic)

Chapter Seven

(Delilah's POV)

   I was sitting in my bunk,typing away at my laptop,making edits to my photos I took the other day of the guys or my blog trying to think about what to say for a blog post.Sighing,I looked out the window at Salt Lake City with a smile.I was a bit homesick but I wouldn't ever admit it to myself because I'm just that stubborn.After about a good minute of thinking if I should take a break,I got up and walked out to the front of the bus.I was by myself tonight while the guys went and had some fun at a local bar,but I walked out and saw Collin sitting on the couch looking through his phone.I nearly jumped when I saw him and fell flat on my ass making Collin look up at me in horror.

"Holy shit,Delilah are you okay?"Collin asked me worried etched in his tone as he ran over helped me up.

"Yeah."I said and looked up "Just didn't expect to see you in the bus."

  Collin laughed more and decided to stop,knowing I was hurt,so he thought it made him look like an asshole so he would rather help me up.For very lean guy,Collin was strong as hell which really surprised me despite the strong voice,it just never clicked that he was strong.After Collin helped me up I dusted off my jeans and my Nirvana t shirt.Collin laughed again,making me really curious as to why he was laughing again because all I did was dust myself off,because it's a tick I have  whenever I fall onto the floor.I raised my eyebrow at him and he stopped laughing because Collin knew he needed to explain to me why he was laughing because I hate when someone makes fun of me,it's a thing that's happened since I was in middle school and I always got either called names or I had milk dumped on me.

"Sorry,its just you brushing yourself off was pretty funny since you fell onto hardwood and there wasn't any dust present.I guess I shouldn't of thought it humorous."Collin said as a look of guilt crossed his face.  

     I smiled at him and decided to forgive him,giving Collin a smile he seemed to understand that he was forgiven so he smiled back.The door opened and Dallas,Nick Vent.,Andrew Kyne,and Nick Veno came in but Dallas had Andrew's arm slung over his shoulder pulling him along.

"I guess they had a good time." I told Collin making him laugh then he went to help Dallas get Andrew to bed.

 Looking around I sat down on the couch and looked through my phone scrolling through Instagram to see what authors and bands posted.Collin came back into the living room with Dallas and Nick Veno. Collin sat down on the couch with me and smiled like he has something planned and I looked at him in concern making him laugh as the guys gave us knowing looks.I got up to get some pop tarts but Nick and Dallas stepped in front of the cupboard and I tried to squeeze past them but it was no use.

"Why are you getting in between me and my beloved snacks you jack wagons!"I said laughing as Dallas picked me up and threw me over his shoulder making me laugh more.

"Collin has something planned and you are not going to ruin it by spoiling your appetite."Dallas said laughing along with me and pulling me to my bunk.

  On my bunk was a note that said:

  Delilah,

I had to leave to go get ready for our date and see if everything is ready at Beans and Books so please meet me there.I picked something out for you and I hope you like it,its more of a thank you for all your help these past two months and hope you'll stay on as our permanent photographer.I know a month ago you wanted to go home because you were missing Damien so hopefully this date convinces you to stay.

  I smiled at the small note as I thought back to the time when I told Collin how much I missed Philadelphia and Damien,who was like my brother.I had called Damien a few times since we've been on tour going from one city to the next but it starts to hit and take it's toll on you,even if you aren't in a band or performing in general.I know I'm just a photographer but still.

*A Month Ago*

  "Collin I don't know how long I can keep on doing photography for you guys anymore.I'm starting to get really homesick and I guess I just want to go home."I said to Collin but not only that but I was starting to really fall for Collin and it scared me

 Collin looked at me shocked then got up to hug me and said "You can go home if you want and just know you are always welcome to come back any time you want."

 I smiled and hugged him back as I went to the bunk area  to pack up all my stuff but as it occurred to me while I was packing everything into my suitcase.I stopped when I looked back out into the living room of the tour bus and saw everyone.Collin looked sad that I was leaving but he was trying his best to hide his disappointment from the guys so I don't think they know yet.My heart ached as I saw Collin so sad so I put my suitcase back under my bunk and texted Collin as I grabbed my laptop and sat on Collin's bunk so we could watch The Office.

Me: Hey,could you come help me pack my stuff? 

Collin:Yeah,sure,I'll be there in a second

Me: Thank you!

  As I turned my phone off and put it away I heard Collin come into the bunk area and he looked around for me.

"Delilah?" Collin called out as he looked around "You still in here?"

"In here!" I called out from his bunk as he walked over and looked inside his bunk and saw me smiling at him.

"I thought you were packing and needed my help?" Collin asked in confusion and I smiled.

"I decided to stay,better if I do.Beside,Philly will still be there when I get back in two more months."I said with a huge smile and Collin smiled back at me.

  Collin sat down next to me as an episode of The Office started up and we sat there for hours eating snacks,laughing,and talking for a bit between episodes.It was an awesome night and I realized that if I left Collin,Dallas,Andrew,Nick Veno,and Nick Ventimiglia, I would miss them more and want to come back anyway so why leave.

*Back To The Present*

   I smiled at the memory as I looked down at the outfit Collin got for me,putting on the dark gray sweater,ripped blue jeans,a black leather jacket and black suede ankle boots.I smiled at myself in the mirror and did some neutral colored makeup with some dark red lipstick. After I was done I grabbed a black purse I had brought with me and put on a thin back belt then walked out to show Dallas and both Nicks.They all looked up at me and Nick Veno wolf whistled at me making Dallas slap the back of his head.I smiled at the two boys,shaking my head and laughing at them.

  I sucked in a deep breath and opened the door as the guys wished me luck.Following the directions of my gps to Beans and Books,I started my journey to the small bookstore on the dark sidewalk not knowing what or when something was going to happen to me and when something did happen,I was not prepared for what happened on my way to the bookstore.
