It took me a while but I finally found the science lab.
When I got there I was one of the last to arrive.
Mme Fleur was waiting outside the classroom for everyone.
"I heard about your incident with Mr Roberts" she said frowning.
"I'm disappointed"
Was I known throughout the school as the troublemaker?
This was my first day and all the teachers already hate me.
I sat down at my spot waiting for Mme Fleur.
It didn't take her long as I was one of the last.
She was explaining chemicals and the periodic table, but I hardly listened.
She had a bunch of photos of different chemical reactions hung up on the wall.
There were some pictures of mini explosions and stuff melting.
She was in the background of almost every photo, what an ugly edition.
I saw that she had an award hanging on the wall
It said "Rose Fleur winner of annual science competition".
How ironic, her first name is a flower and so is her last, I bet her middle name is one too.
I raised my hand to ask a question, she looked over at me and said
"Yes, Opal" she sounded kind of mean.
"What's your middle name?" I asked.
"Is that irrelevant to the conversation"she said trying not to loose her temper.
"No si- I mean Mme" I said nervously.
"Let's stay on topic" she said as she continued blabbering on about science.
Every thing she said went through one ear and out the other.
I didn't know I wasn't aloud to ask questions like that.
I even thought it was pretty clever.
She was probably embarrassed because it was something like Lilly.
I would totally make fun of her if her entire name was just flowers.
Suddenly before I knew it, the bell had rung.
I grabbed my beg and left.
It felt good this time not having to stay back.
