Raph x Reader ~Gender Neutral~

  It was early summer, you and Raph decided to go on a little trip to get away from his brothers. Raph desperately wanted time alone with his girlfriend and well you where happy to go along with him. It was rare you two got to spend time together, alone. You could barely cuddle with one of his brothers somehow interrupting your quality time together.
  Raph was busy setting up the rest of the camp as you got the tent ready.  You had bought a rather large tent so your large turtle boyfriend could be comfortable inside it and not feel cramped. The space was becoming quite cozy as you worked on it.
  With the pillows and blankets, The large king size air mattress. A small folding table to put small items on. Such as candles, your hair brush and other essentials. The tent had your suit case with your clothes and travel supplies. Other bags filled with items that would be needed later on.
  The two of you where happily camping for 3 weeks. Raph was particularly concerned on how everyone would manage without him. The lair would be more of a mess then usual but everything would be handled....Raph hoped.
  Stepping out of the tent and walking over to Raph hugging his arm as he was grabbing the two camping chairs.

"Raph? You doing ok there?" You asked smiling softly at him.

"Huh?! Oh yeah, I'm doing alright." Raph responded sounding a little distracted.

"You better be I want to stay out here for the full 3 weaks and we can't go back because your getting stressed because of your brothers." You threatened in a playful tone.

  Raph gave you a playful but tired smile. The two of you had decided to camp somewhere that was about 7 hours away from New York. It was currently quite late as you two where finishing setting up camp. You smiled back at him as you put some wood in the fire pit.
  Grabbing some newspaper you brought, with the newspaper and a lighter from your pocket you lit the fire. Raph set the two chairs down near the fire pit. He sat in his chair with a sigh. Kissing his cheek as you walked by grabbing some dinner you packed. Handing two sandwiches to Raph as you sat down.

"Raph do want to go to the lake or hike tomorrow?" You asked.

"How about we just relax around the camp?" Raph suggested.

"I like that idea! Maybe you can sleep in for once" you teased your poor overly tired boyfriend.

"You will still be asleep by the time I wake up either way" Raph teased back with a grin

  Laughing softly before eating your sandwich. Raph finished eating first, putting the ziploc bags that his dinner was in, grabbing the ziploc bag your sandwich was in as well. Then heading to the trash bag that was hanging on the canopy covering the cooking supplies that was brought for the trip.
  Walking back over to you cupping your face in his hands just silently admiring you before gently kissing your lips. Deciding that he was taking you into the tent with him. Raph picked you up with one arm and made his way to the tent.

"Raph we should put out the fire before going to bed" you reminded him.

"Yeah we probably should" He said setting you down on the air mattress.

  Raph then left to put out the fire, soon walking back in after grabbing a water bottle from one of the coolers you brought for the trip. Laying down on his stomach looking away as you changed into looser clothes for sleeping. Wearing a muted red baggy T-Shirt and black shorts. Raph wasn't much of a stomach sleeper. He preferred sleeping on his back/shell  but he was worried he would puncture the air mattress with his spiky shell.
  You layed next to him getting comfy. Pulling a blanket over yourself and him. You both learned the hard way that you needed separate blankets when both of you slept together. Raph is a bit of a blanket hog to say the least.
  Reaching over turning off the lantern. Yawning softly to yourself as you put your smaller hand in his. He gave your hand a small squeeze. Before moving his hand to your back gently caressing the small of your back. Raph often rubbed your back at times it had became a daily habit for him whenever you spent time together. It lulled you to sleep rather quickly.
