Chapter 9⚫Confessions⚫

Percy's POV

"So, Cal...how's life been?" I asked. We both were laying back on my bed, just staring at the ceiling.

She smiled sadly at me "Alright...I guess. I woke up two months ago from my coma. The doctors were very relieved. I tried to reach out to you but it turned out you changed your phone number."

I sighed "About that...". I fiddled with my fingers. "The stupid dam paparazzi somehow leaked my number 6 months ago so I had to get a new one."

"Right, I forgot you were even a celebrity. That's what I adore about your Percy, your so down to earth." She smirked at me

I leaned in and gave her a kiss, my hands snaking around her waist. Her fingers traced my arms and settled around my neck. We've done this many times. But this still makes my heart flutter. I settled her on the bed lied down beside her. We continued our intense makeout session, and I almost got hope in us until a text message interrupted us very rudely. I sighed and put my shirt back on.

Ding!

Party at my mouse tonight!

Leo-

Whats the occasion beauty queen?

Jason-

I don't care as long as there is a party I am up for it

I ignored the rest of the messages and flopped my phone down on my bed and faced Calypso

"He-hey Cal..." I hesitated I was really nervous but i just needed to get that out.

"Yeah?.." A awkward moment of silence slipped through the room

I sighed. When we kissed I felt light but not that spark. The spark I always felt with her. "I am so sorry but, I- I don't feel the same con- connection with you that I did an year ago....". I didn't want act like an arsehole and be a heartbreaker but it was the best to tell her now than later. "I think its good if we take a break..."

"Mhmm" Cal just nodded.

"Cal, its not your fault.."

She just laughed. That clear, genuine laugh that I had fallen in love with. "Its okay, Percy. Anyways I was thinking the same thing..." Then she looked down and blushed. "So- someone else caught my eye..."

I grinned. "That's relieving but don't worry I'll always have a place for you in my heart as a sister, you're really important to me, you know."

"I know." She laughed and I let out a laugh with her

Ding!

Cal's phone rang.

"Oh sorry Percy, that's my cue, Leo wants me to meet him at the library. I'll meet you at Piper's party tonight."

"Leo and library?"

"I know! Well bye!"

"Bye!"

And with that she left the room.

My mum walked in just to make sure everything is okay.

"Percy is everything ok?" She scrunched her eyebrows.

I smiled. A whole smile. A wholesome smile I hadn't had on since I learnt that Calypso was in a coma."Yeah, mom actually its great!" She smiled at me. And I had a feeling she knew everything that happened.

I grinned at her "How was the ultrasound?" I swear all this smiling is making my face hurt. Her face lit up "The doctor said the baby is completely healthy! She's due in about 5 months!"

If it was possible, I smiled even more. I was ready to give so much love to my little baby sister, we'd decided on the name Estelle, and I'd always be there when she fell, and I'd always be there when she laughed, I'd always be there when she cried. I was ready for her.
