↠ C . 24

Tired and exhausted, Taeyeon was lying her heavy head on the desk. But to her disliking she was disturbed by an arm abruptly pulling her up from her seat. Donghyuck pulled her to the corner of the classroom. She raised her eyebrows looking up at him in confusion. Waiting for him to speak.

"You didn't come at lunch you said you were gonna" he placed both hands on his hips raising his left eyebrow. "Oh that.. Yeah I wasn't hungry afterwards"

"That lollipop is enough to fill you? The girl who does nothing but eat all day", Taeyeon gasped and hit his arm. But her attempt to hurt him after his teasing failed when a chuckle left his lips.

Suddenly, his expression changed, becoming more serious , "Where did you get it? You should've got me one" Taeyeon didn't say a word trying to think of an excuse but she wasn't able to when Donghyuck's eyes widened. His eyes trailed at a figure who just walked in.

She twisted around to see where he was looking and realised that his eyes were fixed on Jaemin who also had a lollipop in his mouth. Taeyeon slowly turned around to face Donghyuck whose eyes were already on her. His mouth fell ajar. Shocked, he placed his hand over his mouth after linking up the two.

"You got that from Jaemin! He wasn't with us at lunch either which means... you were with him. Him? Omg wait what. This is hard to digest! When you said you had to go somewhere you had to go to him? When were you both close? I swear you always glare at each other as if you want to slice each other's throats!"

Taeyeon was shaking his arms trying to make the blabbering boy stop talking but Donghyuck wasn't paying attention talking to himself. Then he felt a sudden pang of pain on his left arm. "Ouch!" he squealed like a girl and pouted. Taeyeon gawked her eyes up towards him.

"Can I talk now?" she snarled. Before he could answer she carried on speaking "I went to the rooftop for fresh air and bumped into him that's all. We aren't close and would never be" she folded her arms and looked away from him.

"Then explain this lollipop" he said, raising his eyebrows while pointing to the empty stick where the lollipop was placed a while ago. Taeyeon rolled her eyes, irritated by his interrogation.

She didn't know what to say to that. Donghyuck made a thin lip waiting patiently for her response which never came. He clicked his finger and pointed at her, she was caught red handed. "You're hiding something!"

"No I'm not!" she wasn't lying. She just didn't know what to say to that question. Jaemin just popped it into her mouth. "Yeah whatever" the boy responded, making his way to his seat as soon as the teacher came in.

Donghyuck was eyeing Jaemin, studying his movements. Jaemin was unnoticed by the pair of eyes on him, he was watching Taeyeon who walked past him and sat in her seat.

Donghyuck scoffed while looking back and forth between them confused. The cold hearted Jaemin wasn't dead glaring at the girl down. I mean he wasn't smiling either. He just had an emotionless expression which was hard to read.

However, it was strange behaviour coming from him. Jaemin never warms up to people so easily and is always cold hearted to anyone apart from NCT.

He shook his head not wanting a headache and laid down dozing off.

"Taeyeon, your back!" Yuta came running towards the girl. His healing smile plastered across his face. "Jungwoo woke up"

"What!" without a second to miss she threw her bag onto the floor leaving Yuta standing alone. She ran fast. Bumping into some other members on the way. They laughed and smiled at the over excited girl knowing that she was thrilled on her way to Jungwoo.

She reached the dark brown wooden door at the far end of the corridor. Her fingers shook as they hovered over the door handle. She was scared and nervous for some reason. Taeyeon took a deep breath and opened her eyes. She placed on a smile, the corner of her eyes formed wrinkles. She flung the door open revealing Mark sitting next to Jungwoo eating his watermelon. Her eyes trailed over Jungwoo's arm which was confined in a cast.

Her heart sank seeing him injured. "Taeyeon!" she darted her eyes back to Jungwoo. She placed on a smile before running to him, tackling him in her embrace. He chuckled at her excitement through the warm bear hug.

"I was so worried." finally relieved. She heard him giggle and he patted her back gently with his uninjured arm.

Mark stood up and was left as Donghyuck came into the room. He smiled seeing the girl glued onto Jungwoo. "What's this? Only both of you? What about me?" He sulked.

Taeyeon rolled her eyes "way to ruin the moment!" Donghyuck pouted and ran towards her, he sat on the bed as well and trapped both Jungwoo and Taeyeon in his arm giving a group hug "You know Jungwoo, this girl wouldn't eat properly, and couldn't sleep, she even didn't pay attention in class a lot because all she kept on thinking was you" Jungwoo faced Taeyeon who stared at the boy in shock.

"How did you know?" She asked curiously. He smiled and mouthed "it was obvious".

Jungwoo narrowed his eyes at the girl tutting his head. "I'm fine now so go and eat. I don't want you to be upset, otherwise I will be as well" Taeyeon nodded and insisted on staying but Jungwoo said that he was going to sleep so they both left him alone.

"Are you feeling better now?" Donghyuck asked her. Taeyeon hummed while thinking about what Jaemin said to her earlier on the day.

And he will be upset to see his cute little sister he stole from Boss sulking over him.

I guess he was right

Taeyeon was walking back from Jungwoo. She wanted to do something for the gang so she made dinner for them. Jungwoo couldn't join the others at the table so she insisted on going to eat with him.

When she was there she didn't get to eat because she ended up nursing him. Jungwoo is right handed and was struggling. He felt like a kid because she kept on teasing him by making airplane noises and laughing at his unamused reaction.
