Chapter 23

*Niall's P.O.V*

She kissed me on the cheek. It sent electricity through my body where she kissed me. I need to get over her. Fast. Maybe a date will help me. Yeah. Maybe going on a date with this girl will help me get over her. Maybe this is just what I need. She looked so happy playing with her new puppy. It was my idea. She had told me at dinner that she always wanted a dog. Her parents never let her get a dog. I walked away and went to my room.

I was almost ready for my big date tonight. I was taking her out to dinner at the same place I took Taylor. I'm not proud of it. I blanked and said I was surprising her with something fancy. I hear a noise at my door and see Taylor wearing sweat pants and a hoodie. "It's summer and your dressed for fall." I walk over to her and am careful not to wrap my arms around her. "Your tie is crooked." She stands on her tip toes and fixes it. She looks up at me and it's all I can do to keep my self from kissing her. Our lips just barely brush. "Um Niall? Your date is here." I was so focused on Taylor I didn't notice Eleanor come up the stairs. I turn around to see Taylor in all her five foot five inches of glory. She gives me a sad smile and follows me downstairs. When we reach the living room I had to do a double take. I heard Taylor gasp behind me. It was the girl from McDonald's.
