-affection
He'd have trouble showing affection
He was so used to protecting Liyue all the time that he doesn't know shit about affection. He might end up pushing you away but that's cause he doesn't know how to show he loves you! He would observe other couples and try to do the same. The end result would always be either he didn't do it cause he was to shy to, or he did but failed and kinda turned into an awkward situation.
-kisses
After Xiao learned what a kiss was he always wants one 24/7. Xiao loves giving you kisses cause it's way of saying he's super grateful for you. He's too nervous to ask though and doesn't want to seem sensitive either. He would rarely ask but if he did, he would try to trick you into it even though it's obvious.
-skinship
At first he didn't get it but as soon as he learned, he would blush crazy if you held his hand for more then 4 seconds. He seems more cool with cuddling though. Even though he's on the verge of exploding, he still likes it cause it kinda feels like he's protecting you :)
-jealously
Since he's not experienced in relationships, he's not sure wether or not someone is going to far or is flirting with you. So he kinda gets easily jealous. He does trust you though so he doesn't interfere. However he can tell when you get uncomfortable so he'll jump in.
-Overall
Xiao isn't experienced in this kinda stuff like heck he wouldn't even know what a kiss is. It's a very slow process for him but eventually he'll slowly start opening up to you and become very affectionate :)
Author notes: So I made these because I've seen other Xiao head canons before and thought they weren't really portraying his character correctly. Like some would say he's super affectionate, others said he was horny. In my opinion he wouldn't cause I think he wouldn't really get it at first. I've never really seen head canons considering that maybe Xiao doesn't have current knowledge of what couples consider couple things. So yeah hope you enjoyed
