Luke's pov
I started to notice how April never waned to hang out with Lacey. I guess she's intimidated by her or something. I mean we have been best friends since forever. April and I haven't seen each other much this week but we've called each other a lot.
I'm gonna surprise Lacey today with movie night. We used to do this as kids and have popcorn wars. But we're sophomores now, and it's different. I think this will be good for us. So I grabbed 3 movies and bags of popcorn. I bought candy and sodas. Then I headed on my way to Lacey's house.
When I arrive, I grabbed the stuff out of the car and headed to the door. I knocked and opened it Lacey. "Hey Luke what's this"she said. "Movie night,like when we were kids"I said with a slight smile. Her eyes captured my smile and agreed, she's playful.
I threw a blanket on the floor neatly And grabbed pillows. Lacey came in with popped popcorn and candy. She sat down and I put in the movie. "Scream four LUKE?! SCREAM 4!!"she said. "Haha Yep get over yourself besides Mr.Hemmings is here"I said. She looked at me in annoyance and handed me popcorn. We scooted closer where there was only a few inches between us.
The movie started and half way through people started kissing. It was weird for a horror movie. "Hey lace" "yeah Lukey "she said glued to the screen. "You think it's weird"I started. She move her head to motion to go on. "Um do you think it's weird that we've never kissed"I said, And her head directly short towards me.
"Why would you ask that"she said. "Well usually when a girl and boy are Aqzqqbest friends in a movie they end up kissing. To determine if they like each other. "Shut up"she said pushing me over. I came back up and knocked into her, in which she fell over.
Lacey's pov
I liked up after hitting the floor and Luke hovered over me. "Um are you gonna kiss me"I said. "Maybe...it depends"he said twisting and lock of my hair between his fingers. My heart literally racing. "But I have a boyfriend" "and I have a girlfriend"he said. "Maybe some other time"he whispered in my ear. Don't leave kiss me now. We got up and continued the movie. Now im determined to get a kiss tonight.
