Chapter 2

Lava bubbled below the cobblestone bridges. This place is just a wasteland. Why would anyone want to travel through here? It's hot as hell, well this place is just hell. The fungus vegetation, hoglins and piglins didn't help with this place giving off an unwanted welcome. "WILL SLOW DOWN!" The child says loudly. Tommy carefully runs to the taller one in front. He moves the white streak of hair out of his face. "Then keep up you little shit." Wilbur says in a playful tone, looking down at the blonde hair boy. He has a smirk on his face. He looks at the large portal in front of him. He carefully steps through what looks like purple glass. He feels chills running through his body. He lets out a shaky breath, "Wilbur don't you think Techno will just run us off? I mean we aren't not welcome here?" Tommy's tone is anxious. "Calm down Tommy, we'll be fine. I highly doubt Phil would have Techno kill us." Wilbur says his tone calm. He looks back at Tommy. He moves the white streak of hair out his face. He takes a deep breath, trying to stay out of the shade. Tommy stays close to Wilbur, his eyes widened when he slips and falls. He groans when Wilbur bursts out laughing. "Not funny!" He snaps. He tries to get up but he keeps slipping on ice. Wilbur just stands there, laughing. "You ass!" Tommy yells at Wilbur, finally able to stand up. He gets off the ice. Wilbur elbows Tommy and he starts to walk away. Tommy smacks Wilbur and he follows him. He looks at the cabins and he sighs. He follows Wilbur to them. They both carefully go up the icy stairs. Wilbur notices that Phil's door is wide opened and he goes to it, "Phil?" He calls, expecting to hear him. He looks back at Tommy. Tommy goes to Techno's door and knocks on it, "Hey blade!" He says loudly but gets no response.

     They both freeze when they hear a loud sound from the forest. Tommy quickly goes to the stairs and jumps down them, not giving a shit. He stumbles but catches himself. He runs to the forest and looks back at Wilbur, "Will come on!" He shouts. Wilbur rolls his eyes and follows Tommy. He stops when he gets to him. Tommy looks at Wilbur and he follows him into the woods. He sees something in the distance and he bolts towards it, The Axe of Peace tightly in his hand. He stops when he gets to Techno and Philza. He looks back at Wilbur. Techno looks over his shoulder at the two boys. "What do you want?" He asks. Phil tilts his head at them and approached the two. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?" Tommy yells, looking at Phil. "Phil," Techno spoke, calmly. "How do you know?" Wilbur asks. Philza seems annoyed. He snaps at Tommy and Wilbur before grabbing Techno's compass. Techno watches and faces them. He holds out an emerald. "Who else could it be? If these two items were next to him." Techno says. Philza looks at Techno slowly. "You do have a point," Wilbur says. He looks at Philza, "At least he can't stop us if we bully the child." He says with a grin. Tommy glared at Wilbur. "Shut up!" He snaps. "How about you shut your mouth child." Wilbur says with a quiet laugh. Techno sighs and he walks away, back to the cabins. He looks up when he watches some crows fly away.

   Phil spread his wings open to the full length. He let out a caw before taking off to the cabins. "Cheater!" Tommy said in an annoyed tone. "I didn't think we were racing." Wilbur responded. He sighed as Tommy ran off, "He can be an idiot sometimes." He spoke to himself in a low, quiet tone. He looks ahead at the hybrid, walking ahead of him. He walks away from where he was standing, listening to the crows and the icy snow crunching from his shoes under him. He sighed. Wilbur walks up the stairs being careful of where the snow-covered ice is and where it's just snow lying on the dark wood stairs. The hybrids cold gaze landed on the two boys. Techno lifted his head, his eyes making contact with the crow. This disease already hit him when he passed through the nether. When that happened to him he turned into a giant hoglin which is strange because he's a Piglin hybrid. He took deep breath in then out and he kept his dark, crimson eyes on the dark iridescent crow. 'I must have passed this to him... the only cure is to be extremely near death. Phil can't lose a life.' He thought.

Tommy tried to sneak behind Techno to grab his Orphan Obliterator and he glanced at Wilbur. Techno quickly turned, "What are you trying to do?" His tone is cold. He keeps his eyes on the boy in a red and white shirt. "Nothing." Tommy says. He looks at Wilbur, putting a finger up to his mouth. "Tommy was trying to steal your sword." Wilbur says, ignoring the child. A gentle grin appears onto the hybrid's face, "Is that a challenge?" He asks, his tone not as harsh. "Errr... No?" Tommy questioned himself. He took one step back and his gaze landed up at the giant crow. They watch the crow glide down to the soft, snow covered ground. Techno slowly walked down the steps and gently placed his hand onto his face. He let a quiet sigh escape. He looked over his shoulder at the two when they approach him. He grabs an iridescent black feather when it falls to the ground. The hybrid doesn't look at them, his eyes narrowed as the voices anger. "Will I think Techno is pissed off aga-" Tommy gets cut off. "No shit!" Wilbur snaps at Tommy. He keeps his eyes on the hybrid. "Go the long way to get back to your home, " Techno looks at the two. "Listen to me when I say do not enter the nether. I think a disease is running through it, making people turn into monsters." He says. He looks at Phil then back at them. "Okay." Tommy says, rolling his eyes. He thinks Techno is joking. "I think the Blade wants us gone." He looks up at Wilbur. "Then come on." Wilbur says, his tone slightly annoyed.
