The six extraordinary Yakshas. Immortal beings with undefinable might and power. Beings, who were summoned for the sole reason for providing safety to inhabitants, and to purge all evil that was left behind by the defeated gods. This evil was created through the lost gods, and it had come in every shape or form. This hatred and madness could tear away at a regular person's skin, flesh and bone, hence the reason these Yakshas were summoned.

The Yakshas looked human, however, they weren't even close to being able to compared to one. Rather, the right word to describe was the following. Demons.

These demons were to be not withhold any humanoid feelings, so that is why they never had a care in the world when they purged evil. All they did, was killing relentlessly. They were coded with this. None of the legendary Yakshas ever spoke a word to each other, they did not show any care, nor affection towards the other, but they knew they were comrades.
Well, that was except for two of them. Alatus, and Akarius.

Those two had developed an indescribable bond for each other. Neither of them spoke a word to each other. However, they had looked after the other whilst on the battlefield, when their paths had crossed that is.
Neither of them knew how to describe the feeling they had, but whenever the other one wasn't present, they felt incomplete. Like something was missing. Like the last piece of a thousand piece puzzle.
Any other person would describe this feeling as the following: Missing, and longing for each other.
Even if a word was not spoken between the two immortals.

However, as the time had passed on, all the killing had drove them either (insert backstory of the others)

As for Akarius, she was able to successfully fulfill her duty for one and a half millennia. However, once she had been on the battlefield, the enemy had been more powerful than usual. Perhaps, more than just an unusual occurrence. And so it turned out in the end.
As she was trying her hardest against those beings, she had been captured by the enemy, and she was taken hostage.

However, what followed, was only her worst nightmare. Something no one would even wish upon their worst enemy.

As it had later turned out, she was kidnapped by the God of Wisdom himself, Intelligenus. Akarius had been heavily restrained, without a chance of escaping that hellish place.
It was dark, up to the point of her not being able to see her own fingers. It was cold, even though she never had felt cold before. Ever.
But that was only the tip of the iceberg.

In the beginning, she tried relentlessly to get out of that dark place, but to no vail, it never worked out.
After she had been locked away for the Archons know how long, the god who had priorly captured her made his appearance. That was where everything had taken its commence.

The God of Wisdom, Intelligenus had one single intent when he had captured her. To use her as his own loyal laboratory rat. Someone, no, rather something he could experiment on without having the worry of it dying due to the conditions of his experiments.
Presumably, he had tried on several mortal beings. However, none of those mortals had survived his cruel experiments. This was his perfect opportunity. And he had taken it gladly with his arms open wide.
