FLASHBACK

She had gone to get some food to bring back to her Grandma's condo, there was barely anything in the fridge and she wanted to bake something for her Grandma. She had a hard time finding a store and her grandmother's directions were completely and utterly useless. She had he eyes on her phone and the streets trying to find a store with a GPS.

She looked around for the store shown on her phone but could see it. She glanced back at her phone and immediately ran into someone 'just my luck' she thought as she started apologizing to the stranger she had bumped into. "Again, I'm so sorry," I said scrambling to help them pick up their books that I had knocked out of their hands "No, no it's my bad" she snapped her head up hearing the familiar french accent and voice. When she saw their face she stood up and then stumbled back ending up back on the ground. "Damn.." I said rubbing my head. A hand appeared in front of my face, my eyes widened looking back up at the somewhat familiar face. He looked at me with a weird face.

I grabbed ahold of his hand and stood up. "Whoa uh, what are you doing here?" I asked looking at him, he looked at me as if i just asked him why the earth was made. I guessed that he had to be Adrien's long-lost twin or doppelganger "Pardon?" he said looking at me more confused than ever. "Oh uh sorry you just really look like someone I know, and you sound like them." He looked at me again, furrowing his and unfurrowing his brows. "No, it's fine. You aren't from here are you?" He asked looking me up and down. I felt self-conscious, my hair in a messy bun and wearing just a simple tank top and shorts. "Is it that obvious?" I asked smiling shyly. Aside from the fact that he looked at Adrien, I could tell he wasn't just a quick as I thought he was. "Painfully" He replyed smirking back at me.

My smile widened a bit more at his playfulness. " I didn't mean to run into you like that I was just looking for a certain grocery store," I said rubbing the nape of my neck sheepishly. I suppose my clumsiness is just famous in Paris. He smiled again and pointed behind him at the store I saw on my phone just earlier. "That one?" he asked eyebrows raised. "Yep, that the one" I sighed, at least I found where I was going. "I'm Marinette," I said holding out my hand he grabbed it, his grip firm but gentle against my hand. "Nice to meet you Marinette, I'm —" He was cut off by the honking of a horn as a car pulled up, a window rolled down as a man spoke, addressing the young man who still had his hand in mine. "Mr. Graham de Vanily," The man said in a thick British accent. I heard an audible sigh come from The "Mr. Graham de Vanily" as his hand dropped out of mine, leaving my hand cold. "Well, Marinette, nice meeting you but as it seems, I must be off now." He shrugged and grabbed my hand planting a respectful kiss on it and then dropped it once again.

Once he let go his whole demeanor changed, I assume because of the man who was still looking at him from inside of the car. He sighed for the last time and got in the backseat of the car and drove away.
