Back In Town

Reunion

Regina's POV

Regina walked into Granny's Diner after a long day at work. She was meeting her brother Daniel after work to hang out. While she was looking around for her brother she saw this beautiful blonde just standing and looking at something until she turned her head and her eyes met mine. I was so intrigued by this woman she seemed familiar especially when the woman's green eyes met hers. She didn't know what had gotten into her but by the time she realized what was going on she was already introducing herself and offered her hand and said.

"Hi I'm mayor Mills you must be new in town welcome to Storybrooke." When I finished introducing myself. The mysterious green eyed woman took my hand, shook it and replied with a smirk on her face and said "hey mayor Mills my name is Emma, Emma Swan." I was so shocked when I realized it was really Emma the same Emma that helped my brother get back on track in school. The same Emma Swan I had a major crush on back in the day. I hadn't seen Emma in 5 years. I was traveling around the world when I found out about Ruby's death 4 years ago and by the time I got back to Storybrooke the news had died down and nobody really talked about it anymore. Because everyone in town knew it was hard on granny to be reminded that she lost her daughter. When I finally recovered from my shock I was just about to open my mouth and say something but I got interrupted by the door to the diner opening, I turned to see who it was and I saw my brother running towards Emma and pulling her into a big bear hug.

Daniel's POV

When I got to Granny's diner and opened the front door I couldn't believed who I saw. Freaking Emma Swan! I hadn't seen her in a year. We still talk a lot over the phone but we hadn't spoken face to face in a year, me and Em kept in touch even after she graduated she still helped me with my school work and we still talked about everything just like we did in high school. When I pulled out of the big bear hug I gave Emma. I looked at her and said " damn it been to long since I seen my bestfriend." She just smiled big and said "well I have kinda missed you too" and started laughing.

I got pulled out of our little reunion when I heard my sister say "well it's nice to see you again Miss Swan I didn't recognize you." I swear Regina and Emma had a weird relationship ever since I could remember, they didn't really get along but when someone said anything about Emma being a foster kid, or they would say something bad about her Regina would always stand up for Emma and the same happened with Emma she would always stand up for Regina. They had this sorta like/tease relationship Emma responded to Regina with sarcasm and a smirk "well I'm kind bummed you didn't recognize me did I change that much" and then Emma winked at her.

I started laughing and saying "well you both didn't change you still act the same way you did back when we were younger." They both just looked at me and rolled their eyes. I looked behind Emma and my smile grew even bigger when I saw Megan with her beautiful blueish greenish eyes and her light brown hair and with her little legs running towards me and jumping into my arms and saying. "Uncle Daniel!! I've miss you so much momma said we were going to go to your house and surprise you tomorrow!"

I just laughed, picked her up and looked at Emma and Regina. I saw Emma looking at her daughter with a loving look on her face, a look that I only see when she looks at Megan or when she used to look at Ruby. When I looked at Regina she looked at me and said "uncle Daniel?" while she had a confused look on her face. Emma said "yup uncle Daniel, Regina I would like you to meet my daughter Megan." Regina looked shocked to say at least but she kept a straight face the only reason I knew she was shocked was because me and my sister are close. I saw her start to smile and look at Megan and said " hi sweetie I'm Regina Daniels big sister."

Megan just looked at me with a questioning look like she was asking "is it true is she your sister?" I just smiled and gave her a nod and she broke out into the cutest smile and said. " Hi I'm Megan. Uncle Daniel talks about you a lot when he's around me and momma." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emma's POV

When Megan finished introducing herself to Regina, Daniel suggested that since they were going to eat dinner at Granny's that me and Megan should join them and have dinner with them and when I saw my daughter smiling at the Mill's siblings I couldn't say no. So we picked a little booth and when I went to go sit down Megan asked if she could sit next to Regina I was curious about Megan asking to sit next to Regina she normally doesn't like new people. But of course she used her puppy dog eyes and I said "as long as it's okay with Regina", she could get away with anything when she pouted.

When she was younger and she would starting pouting at Ruby I swear Ruby would tell me all the time "Emma Swan! you created a monster she has your pout." Me and Ruby would go back and forth laughing and arguing, I personally thought she had Ruby's pout but Ruby would always say "no that pouts all yours she just has my facial features everything else is yours."

When Regina gave Megan a nod and gestured for Megan to sit next to her she sat down and, I heard Regina and Megan start talking about themselves and other little things. That's just the way Megan is when she likes someone she could talk to them all day about everything and anything at all. I started smiling because I've never seen Regina act this way around someone other than her family, and sometimes with me I was really happy she was being nice to Megan.

When I looked at Daniel I knew he wanted to ask why we were here but he didn't want to sound like a jerk about it or ungrateful that we were here so I figured I would just rip the band aid off and just tell him so I got straight to the point and said. "Me and Meg are moving here. I just got a job exception I'm going to be the new Sheriff and I signed Meg up to go to Storybrooke Elementary School."
