Ara leaned her body against Jake's to peek at his laptop screen,"Woah. You are smart."

The boy glanced at her side profile, being distracted by her sudden arrival.

For a few moments, he was completely taken aback by her beauty.

"I never thought she would be so beautiful.",he thought.

She turned her head, linking their eyes.

Jake's heart skipped a beat, finding her so close to him.

Ara got back to her work after flashing a faint smile, leaving Jake flushed.

"What are we supposed to write here?",Heeseung mumbled under her breath.

The team decided to meet at the cafe working on their project.

"You need to write the statistics.",explained Ara in a serious tone.

The popular guy tilted his head.

"Like the population rate...infant mortality...birth rates...a-",she paused watching Heeseung stare at her with a smile.

"Are you listening?"

"You are so pretty.",his lips formed a smile.

Heat reached her cheeks, turning them red.

Jay rolled his eyes sulking once again,"We are not here to flirt."

"I am not flirting. I am just stating facts.",Heeseung snapped.

"The way you said it...seemed like flirting. Shut up.",Jay snapped back.

Jake and Ara exchanged glances , heaving a sigh.

"Did you find a new home,Jay?",Ara questioned.

Jay's expression softened,"Yeah. I am staying at Jake's home."

The writer was startled by the sudden revelation,"You are w-what?"

"Thank god.",Heeseung let out a sigh of relief .

Ara chuckled at the boys' conversation.

"I will come back from the washroom.",she rose from her seat while the boys' nodded.

Once she left, Heeseung suspiciously eyed the new character,"Are you from the real world too?"

"Yeah. I am."

"No wonder , you got along well with Jake."

"How did you find out about it?",asked Jay with curiosity.

The main character lowered his gaze,"Ever since this new version started...I began feeling something unusual.I felt the time skips...I started having weird flashbacks from the past...",he gulped ,"...a few days later, when I went to the library, my gaze fell on a mysterious book...it's name was 'RAIN' and that's how I found out...about this world and the...",he eyes shifted to Jake,"...writer."
