"I am sorry,Ara.",Jake lowered his  gaze apologising to her.

She walked past his figure, not wanting to respond.

Jake held back his tears, holding her wrist,"Ara. Please don't do this to me. Please forgive me."

Tears formed in her eyes,"How Jake? How am I supposed to forgive you? All these years, I had been living in a pit of darkness....losing my parents left a deep scar in my heart...I- I lived as an outcast...I was always sad and lonely...",she paused feeling a lump on her throat ,"....you were behind it...you were the writer...after all these events, I found out that my life is nothing but fiction? A play of the writer?"

Jerking his hands off , she rushed upstairs leaving Jake there, in tears.

//Terrace//

/40 minutes later/

Ara wiped out her tears , sensing Jay walk towards her.

"Jay...",she glanced at him.

He gazed at her tenderly, rubbing his thumb against her cheek,"Ara,you trust me right?"

She sobbed.

"Forgive him."

She remained silent .

"Jake...He is a nice guy. He didn't know about this world. He was just creating his own manga...had he known about your existence, he would have never done this..."

Ara stepped away from him ,"It seems you are...really best friends with him now."

"Ara."

"I was over reacting...I feel bad now.",she didn't want to reveal this but that's how she actually felt.

She felt guilty for being so rude.

"Woah. Thank god,you are not stubborn."

Her jaw dropped,"Did you think, I was stubborn?"

"No no! Not at all.",he waved his hands in the air with a nervous laugh,"But I want you to know that your reaction was valid. You had every right to react in the way you did. Hmm?",he flashed a smile.

She  stared at him for a while and then began to walk downstairs causing Jay to question,"Where are you going?"

"To meet Jake."

He chuckled.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Everything.",her smile appeared making his heart skip a beat.
