~Sapnap's POV. 'Also thoughts are in italic'~

I wake up to the sun hitting my closed eyes, I slowly open them 

I rubbed away the tiredness in my eyes as the memories of last night filled my head 

'Oh right...' I look down to see Karl still laying in my arms sleeping 

'Cute, I really need to figure out these feelings...'

'Do I like Karl? I mean of course I like Karl, but do I like like him...?' 

I start to notice that I was staring at the beautiful boy laying in my arms 

'He's so pretty, and handsome all in one. And his personality is just perfect, he's nice and sweet and makes me happy I mean what else could you ask for in a person, he's basically perfect. And his laugh, don't even get me start on that, or his stunning smile or his ocean blue eyes'

'But do I think of my other best friends like that?...not really I guess'

'So, does that mean I like like Karl?'

I grab my phone while sighing, I open up mine and Dream's texts and starts typing 

Me: hey, I need some help

Brother: what's up? 

Me:I think, I might like Karl...

Brother: oh really now😏

Me: I'm serious Dream, idk what to do

Brother: well since you are staying longer, I would just wait to see if you can tell if he likes you back 

Me: okay, thanks man 

Brother: anytime, now go get yo mans😉

I scoffed at Dream's text, then lay down my phone 

I noticed Karl starts to move, but yet his still asleep 

'Maybe he's having a dream of some sort?' 

I slowly get out of his grasp and head downstairs to the couch to give Karl some space 

And plus, I've got lots of thinking to do 

~Karl's POV~ 

I woke up to someone walking downstairs, I assumed it was Nick. Well I hope it was just Nick 

I stretch my arms and legs while realizing that I'm laying on top of my blankets and I'm jeans 

'Wait- oh, right... I almost forgot'

I let out a small breath while looking around for my phone, I soon found it laying on my desk plugged into the wall

 'Oh thank god'

I sigh in relief as I get out of my bed and headed over to my desk

I pick my phone up seeing that it's fully charged and filled with lots of texts, calls and all sort of stuff 

'People must have noticed'

I groan and lazily sit on my desk chair 

'I mean Nick noticed, but Nick is different from everyone else' 

I confused myself 

'Wait- nick is different from everyone else' 

I repeat that sentence over and over trying to understand why, why was Sapnap different?

'I mean, he's my best friend? Right, well yeah. But I don't see my other best friends as I do for him..' 

'I mean who wouldn't see him as more, he's funny, caring, handsome as honk, sweet. He's got a perfect personality- wait, what?'

'What am I thinking, what's this feeling...it's so fuzzy but it's nice'

'He's- he's just my best friend, right?'

'But-' 

My thoughts were interrupted by my stomach growling, 'I forgot food, oops'

I breathe for a second to relax myself guessing Nick was going to be downstairs 

I get up from the chair and slowly walk downstairs with my locked phone in my hands

I see him sitting on the couch, he had the tv on but he looked more zoned out more then anything 

"Nick?" I ask, while standing behind the couch 

"Oh- Karl, you're awake" he turns around and smiled at me 

"Have you had any food yet?" I ask 

He shook his head meaning no 

"You want cereal? I don't feel like cooking today" I suggests 

"I'm good with cereal" he confirms as I walk to the kitchen to get the two bowls of yummy cereal 

After a few minutes I walk back into the living room and hand Nick his cereal 

Then I sat down next to him, and before taking a bite of my cereal I speak up 

"Hey, um" I lower my head slightly "thank you for yesterday" I lift my head, he looks at me with a soft face 

"Of course," he pauses "you can always talk to me, you know?" He softly hits my shoulder his elbow as we both start laughing 

"I know, and same for you" I reassure

"I know, and I'm thankful for that" he smiles at me
