Its been 5 years to that day.How quickly Time passes. It felt like yesterday when I had held her in my arms for the first time. And today she will be a bridesmaids in my wedding.
After I adopted Rani( Name of my daughter with Neha), I started working from home mostly, first few months I took a maternity leave to understand her , the meds and everything. Once I was able to crack it , I decided I can start working from home.
Ria, had always been there with me from the beginning, she was the best masi even a mom to her, but she never let her call her mom. She always said,
" Bhaiya, I might have raised her for these few many years with you and how much I would love her to call me mom, but that is not my place, She deserves to know her mom the one who gave her birth , plus When you find someone in your life, the one who truly loves you and vice versa and loves Rani as much, she deserves to be called as Mom. I fine with Masi, after all its "Maa jai si"- meaning just like mum."
" God I am going to go a total MoMzilla on that lady!! How many time i told her to cut the labels and then put the new clothes of Rani in the washing machine . Ugh!!" Ria exclaimed.
" Calm down, stop whining, she is new she will get tht."
" I will fire her!"
" Are you kidding me Ria, take a chill, How many people will you fire each month, she is good just needs time."

"What happened Ria" I turned around to face her.

"This was the same way we behaved when we had hired Swara for the job. Hahahaha and now you are all over heels for her and getting married!"
"Bro, take a chill! I love Swara a lot not gonna fall for someone, and you know right why she took up the job."
" yeah yeah bhai , I do, Thats why I look upto her so much, she and nisha would be a great extension to this family!"
"Who will be what?" Swara asked, confused standing at the door, listening to out batter.
" you my love and our two daughters." Shiwam got up and hugged swara, Kissed her on the forehead.

" yeah yeah you wish, just cause you dont have you are jealous" I said.
Swara slapped the back of my head and I realised what i blurted out. I rushed towards her,
"I am sorry Ria, I didnt mean it that way. Sorry....."
"Hey, its okay bhai, thats a old wound btw, no need to talk about tht, get ur ass running now, and make us some good coffee bhai!"
"Sure sure in 10mins" I left the room.

Ria Pov
That did hurt what bhai said, even though he didn't mean it , it did stike an old wound.
"Baby.... ( Swara gives me a hug)its okay, if you want to let it out, I am here, don't worry, and I saw the new nanny a bit sad, did u threaten her to fire her. Again."
I gave her my best cheesy smile.
" I might have..."
"Really, love take a chill girl, she will be good for this, I have a feeling."
"Haan hope so... now lets enjoy our coffees"

"Got your coffees" just then Shiwam arrived at the door.
