Harold and Alex were hard at work at Brendom Bay. The two engines shunted trucks, and took goods to their destination. They then saw an engine who they thought was Barrow. "Hey, Barrow, what are you doing here? We've got a load need to....." Alex stopped, and got a good look at the engine.
"Oh, you're not Barrow." "No, that's my brother. My name's Boco." "Nice to meet you Boco, I'm Alex." "Nice to meet you Alex. Is this my train?" "Yes it is." "Alright, there should be a load of China Clay coming soon. Just be careful of the twins." "Twins? You mean Donald and Douglas?" "No, I mean the Tank Engine twins, Bill and Ben." "I see," said Alex, "Are they troublesome?" "Yes they are," said Boco. He then set off, leaving Alex with much to think about.
Soon, Harold was working on a goods train, when he saw a small tank engine. "Hello," said Harold, "Can I help you?" "Yes, I need this Clay sorted out please." "Of course," said Harold. He buffered up to the trucks, and pulled. He then came to a stand still. "HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO MOVE THESE!?!?" he asked. Unknown, Alex was pulling from the other end, with another tank engine as well. "I'm guessing that you've pulled a trick on me, right?" "Me, no," said the tank engine. "Are you that Bill, or Ben?" "Bill." "Boco told me about you. So, what did you..." Just then, the coupling snapped. Harold was sent down the line, and hit some buffers. "TRICK Y-" Just then, a loud crash was heard, and the engine went to see what it was: It was Alex, and he crashed into Edward, who came with a goods train!! The two derailed, blocking the points, leaving all the engines stuck. "Oops," said Bill and Ben.
Soon, Trooper came with the breakdown cranes, and the Fat Controller.
"I am disappointed in you Bill and Ben," he boomed, "I expected you to play harmless tricks, not ones that would cause a crash. You will both help clean up this mess, apologize to Harold and Alex, and stay in your sheds for a week." "Yes sir," said Ben. "Sorry sir," said Bill.
Soon, the engines all cleaned the mess, and Harold was sent to clay pits for the time being. there, Bill and Ben apologized. "We're sorry for pulling that trick on you," said Ben. "We are," said Bill, "I just want you to know.....IT WAS ALL BEN'S IDEA!" "What!?!" exclaimed Ben, "No it wasn't, you were the one who suggested it!" "Well you were the one who said 'Are you thinking what I'm thinking?'" "No I didn't!" "Yes you did!" "No I didn't!" "Did!" "Didn't" "Did!" "Didn't!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "Did not!" Harold laughed. "You know, you two seem to be a perfect match." "Well, we are twins," they said. Harold then headed off to do his work, and soon became friends with the twins.
