Steve was called away to help on a Heritage Railway that was in need of an LMS engine. When he arrived, he was greeted by many engines. Some, he remembered from his time in the LMS.
"Jinty, Jacob, Ivatt, and Fowler, how have you all been!?" asked Steve. "It's been great! Heard you're a part of the Steam of Britain Fleet?" asked Jacob. "Indeed I am," said Steve, "So, what is it like? Being here on the heritage railway?" "Not bad," said Jinty, "Some of us want to be out on the mainline, while others are content here." "Yes," said Fowler, "Now, what is it like, with the others?" "You mean the other engines?" "Yes, what regions are they from?" asked Ivatt. "Well," said Steve, "There's Mallard, Silver Link, Flying Scotsman, Max, Alex, Trooper and Bertram from the LNER. We have the Duchess of Hamilton and Harold from the LMS. We have Harry, Perry, Jack of the Great Western Railway. We also have Alison and Arron of the Southern Region." "Nice, and why are there diesels there?" asked Ivatt. "What do you mean?" "Diesels are not real engines!" said Fowler, "Those filthy objects are the reason we are now gone!!" Steve then snapped, "Now listen here you lot, not all diesels are like that!! One named Daniel has been with us since the beginning!! In fact, he looks up to us steam engines, and Barrow, Rose, Rattler, Norvin and Archibald all do too!! We are friends, and I will not stand for someone talking about my friends like that!!" The three LMS locomotives looked at him in shock. Soon, Steve was put to work. He coupled up to his passenger train and set off.
