You said you wanted to see the world
I knew the world was a big, scary place
I knew there would be monsters
Just as I knew there would be knights and castles
But I said, "Go," because you wanted toAnd because I am not the world and I don't know what exactly
That makes me but I know it makes me something that
You would like to see less frequently.I am still at the stop where you left me
If I try to stand up from the bench
My stomach spins like it's looking for you
I don't know how to tell it
You are miles away
Boarded using a ticket we bought together.I don't know how to tell it
We weren't enough this time.Poems by the platform
Author's Note
While I was writing this I was actually sitting at a physical bus stop alone at like 1am by the way. So, sometimes these poems are literal! 🥴
This chapter is dedicated to Mr_Me-sterious for all their well thought-out comments and support! If you want a dedication you know the drill! Vote, comment, show me some love and next week it might just be you!
