Backstory: Sophie is the daughter of Andy Webster. However she has been raised by the people who adopted Adam. Adam is Andy's younger brother. She loves her Uncle Adam and supports him in whoever he loves. She doesn't have as much of a connection to Andy because she doesn't know they're real relation. She is still young but she's wise for her age. Sophie's biological mom didn't want to have anything to do with her. Andy needed help because he was only 19. So he turned to the only people he could think to ask for help. Adam's adoptive parents agreed to help on the condition that Andy give up his rights and they raise her to believe they are her parents. Otherwise they threatened him saying they'd make sure he could never see her. So Andy despite his heart being shattered completely broken agreed.
