Backstory: Layla is the middle child. She has one older brother and one younger brother. She grew up very close to her mother. Her mother and father divorced when she was a freshman in high school. Her older brother looked after her and her younger brother. It was difficult for all of them. Layla discovered she was Bisexual that same year. She went to a party that some of her classmates were having and played spin the bottle. The bottle landed on her best friend at the time named Lily. She thought they would make her spin again but when she looked at Lily she felt her stomach explode with butterflies and when she kissed her it was like a door opened and she never wanted the kiss to end. Layla and Lily started dating but Lily developed a crush on Layla's older brother. Then Lily slept with Layla's older brother. After finding out Lily cheated on her with her brother Layla confronted her, smacked her and ended their relationship. Layla and her older brother no longer speak and Layla never thought she would love again. She threw herself into her schoolwork and didn't look up until graduation. She started attending (?) studying Computer Programming and Web Design. She got a job at a local tech company and because she was so good at her job she was chosen to go on an internship trip to New York. While the other two interns she traveled with decided to go out for some drinks, Layla decided to visit Time Square. Shed always wanted to go but never had the resources. She was walking around eyes wide when she accidentally bumped into someone spilling her coffee all over her shirt. Layla began apologizing profusely but then she saw the most gorgeous eyes shed ever seen looking back at her and she became speechless. That girl was Bianca. Bianca was in Time Square taking pictures for a class when her camera battery died. They started talking and got more coffee after Bianca gave her a spare shirt she had in her backpack. They exchanged numbers and kept in constant contact. Layla felt like a different person. She felt giddy and couldn't stop smiling. Even when she had to go back to Florida they never stopped talking. After six months they started dating. They've now been dating for three years and she makes sure to visit Bianca as often as she can. She's completely in love and plans to propose to Bianca in Times Square on the four year anniversary of them meeting. Bianca has no idea.
