Backstory: Davina was your typical preppy popular girl. Loved and revered by all. She has always known she wasnt straight but she hid that from everyone. Sometimes she hid that truth from herself. Her friends would ask her which boys she liked and at first she played it safe by pointing out ones that she knew were already taken. It became harder to get by this way as her friends became suspicious. Finally she turned to her older brother for advice. He told her to follow her heart. Davina decided she couldnt hide it from people anymore. So the next time her friends asked her about what boy shed date she scanned the cafeteria and pointed out a girl named Sadie that shed had a crush on since freshman year. Her friends sat there stunned. A couple of them immediately got up and left shunning her completely but two of them stayed each taking one of her hands. Davina felt her eyes full of tears when suddenly she felt someone tap her shoulder. It was Sadie whom she had pointed to. Davina was terrified that Sadie too wouldnt be accepting. Yet that wasnt what happened. In fact, she gave Davina her number and left the table. Davina wasnt fazed by Sadie leaving the table as she knew she was super shy but Davina immediately put Sadies number in her phone. They started texting and ended up dating during their Senior year but as graduation loomed they both realized that going to college so far away from each other meant theyd be attempting long distance. Neither wanted to put the other through that. So graduation day came and that night they celebrated by making passionate love to each other before saying an emotional goodbye. Davina went away to college but they kept in touch growing their friendship which turned into them being best friends. Then during her sophomore year of college on a night they were planning to have a video chat Sadies mom called Davina informing her that Sadie had been in a tragic car accident that she didnt survive. Davina felt her heart shatter sinking to the floor hugging her pillow tightly as she sobbed. She loved truly loved Sadie and her death shook Davina to her core. A year after the tragedy Davina having closed herself off from everyone went for a walk. She hadnt planned to go to the gay bar after finals but she needed to get out of her own head. It was there she ran into Liza. She was star struck at how beautiful Liza was immediately so far gone. They went home together and it was Liza who brought a light back into Davinas life. Then it was Davinas turn to help Liza when she found out Adam, Lizas best friend had been hurt. Though they didnt know details they knew it happened after they left. It was Adams 21st birthday and he had asked Liza to go to the gay bar with him because he was too nervous to go alone. Then he saw Liza hitting it off with a girl and had assured her hed be ok. So she left with Davina. Theyve now been dating for almost half a year. They are each others rocks.
