Sunflowers

27:"My favourite flower? ...That'd have to be those sunflowers you gave me."

Rumia:"Really!? But we went through so much trouble because of them!"

27:"Yeah we did, but it makes them all the more endearing. It's like... look at what we've been through, and we're still kicking."

Rumia:"Huh, you're right."

27:"I usually am. I wish I still had those."

Rumia:"They'd be dead by now."

27:"Yeah but we could've planted their seeds. Satori got lavender to grow, how hard could sunflowers be?"

Rumia:"Well we'd need the right soil... Want me to go and get some more?"

27:"N-NO!"

Rumia:"Hahah, just joking."

27:"Don't frighten me like that before bed."

Rumia:"Did you really think I'd be silly enough to go do that?"

27:"I...I-."

Rumia:"If you're gonna be mean, don't answer that."

27:"My bad."

Rumia:"You're not s'posed to treat your friends like that!"

27:"I cook you meals every day, don't I? I'm allowed to mock you a little."

Rumia:"..."

27:"What's up?"

Rumia:"I'm just thinking."

27:"That's odd."

Rumia:"Are you happy we met?"

27:"What?"

Rumia:"Everyday, I wake up happy. I'm finally with people I like, I haven't felt lonely once since we met. Everything good in my life came about because I was following you. B-But I feel like I've only given you trouble."

27:"Nonsense. Sure, you scared the hell out of me for the first few days, but the only reason I'm still alive is be-"

Rumia:"Because you trapped me into working for you. ...I... I don't know, just... I wish I could do more for you."

27:"Then just be yourself."

Rumia:"Huh?"

27:"Having you around gives me a lot of relief y'know? Satori and them have known eachother so long it's ridiculous, and we're all friends now but... we're a team, we have been since day one. Knowing that I have somebody like that in my corner gives me peace of mind."

Rumia:"When we first met, I thought you hated me."

27:"Well I did, but that's in the past now. I like to think that you've grown since then."

Rumia:"Have I!? Am I taller than Cirno now!? Can we measure my height!?"

27:"...Maybe tomorrow."

When I wake up my eyes are rather groggy, I wipe them off and sit on the edge of my bed. On my nightstand I find the letter from Remilia.
