MOON'S POV
----------------------------------
"What time do you have to be in the studio today?" I asked Brendon while putting our plates in the dishwasher.
"Eh, about 4ish. I still have some time to kill. What day do you have to go to the studio?" he asked from behind me, leaving a light kiss on the back of my neck.
"I think Pete said in a week or so... But I still have to finish a couple more songs, which isn't good because I have writers block," I sighed while running my fingers through my hair, turning around, and facing him. He chuckled at me and took my hands, playing with my fingers.
"Do you want to go work on one? Like I said, I have some time if you want a little help."
"I mean, you've already helped me with most of the guitar parts, Bren. Aren't you sick of it?" I giggled while walking us over to the stairs of the basement. He slipped his hands away from mine and put one on the small of my back, leading me down the stairs.
"Why would I be tired of helping you? I like your music. It's... calming, and when I watch you play your music it helps me with mine. Speaking of which, are you still going to do that duet with me? If you are we should do that today, you know, if you want to..." he trailed off while I went and sat down on the couch with my notepad. He followed me and picked up an acoustic guitar, sitting down in the chair opposite of me.
"Of course I still want to do the duet! I love that song, it's almost bubbly. It's really nice," I explained while reaching down to the coffee table to grab a pencil.
"Good... the song needs your voice. It's adds beauty to it," he said with a cheeky smile.
How do I even add beauty to a song? He's so cheesy.
"Okay, so where do you want to start? What's easier for you, guitar first or lyrics?" I asked in anticipation. I just really want to get these songs done. It's what I've been stressing out most about. I don't want to go to the studio and have Pete not like any of my material.
"Well, do you have any more lyrics? If you don't that's okay..."
"Yeah, I do but I'm running out of ideas so don't laugh at my fiddly shit of lyrics..." I said with a giggle. But really, the only material I have now is about him, so it's nerve racking to show him.
"Fiddly shit? God, what's wrong with you?" he asked with a glowing smile. He started to get up off the chair he was sitting in and make his way over to me. Oh no... this only leads to one thing.
"Bren, please don't.... I swear to god Bren-," I was cut off with Brendon tickling my sides. I can not stand being tickled seriously it's the worst.
"BRENDON BOYD URIE IF YOU DON'T STOP I-," but once again I was cut off, only this time with him kissing me. I ran my fingers through his soft hair and hummed in satisfaction.
