Chapter 11 :
Time OutChloe's POV
Someone knocked on the door habang naisalubong ko ang dalawang kilay ko.
"Zoe! Gising na!"
Ugh! What's wrong with her!?
I managed to get out of bed as I opened the door for her. I have a hard time opening my mouth completely because I have a facemask on my face. "What?"
"Ano wala ka- owshii! Nagpaganda siya! Yiee, bhe kanino ka nagpapaganda?"
I would have liked to raise one eyebrow at him but my skin might stretch. "Tss.. pinagsasabi mo?"
"Sus! Kunwari ka pa! Sabihin mo, may nanliligaw sa 'yo no? Ano, mare?"
"Are you kidding me? Siyempre kailangan ko rin magpa-beauty rest. And I don't need a man, Stacey." I emphasize the word man to her. I scratched my head, showing I was annoyed with her. "Ugh, really? What time is it, why did you wake me up?!"
"Baka nakakalimutan mo, oras na para magtrabaho?"
"T-trabaho?" marahang kunot ko hanggang sa may naalala ako.
Oh, I forgot. Zoe is a working student. I also read in her diary that she works at Seoul Kitchen, the top rated restaurant in their area. So, I will work for him? Is that so? This is harder than I thought! When will everything back to normal!?
Ridiculous. Utterly, ridiculous.
Before joining the dining table, I removed my facemask and then took a shower. I came out of the room wearing a beige polo tucked into jeans. I also applied lip tint and powder to make my look glow.
As I sat in the chair, I glanced at the dish on the table. Nangunot ang aking noo sa hapag-kainan. There's a salted egg on the table, there's a hotdog and.. is that a dried fish?
Ugh, whatever.
I just took a hotdog and sliced it with a spoon and fork. After eating, I even looked for her uniform in her closet. She has only pants and a tshirt. Not even a skirt, and a dress. Zoe's lame. She must know how to style and slay to her enemies so that they have nothing to say. Wala sa uso ang mga damit niya.
I got a green apron, black jeans and a white shirt with a Seoul Kitchen print. I put it in the string bag and left the room. I was about to walk out the door when I remembered something.
"Oh, shoot. I don't know where Seoul Kitchen is," I muttered as I turned Stacey inside. "Hey, saan nga ulit ang Seoul Kitchen?"
While combing her hair, she knit turned to me. She seems to have a job as well. "Hala naboang na, ewan sa 'yo!"
My fist clenched as I blinked a few times at her as my breathing became deep. I would have beaten her but ended up in hesitation."Y-you know- I-.. n-nevermind!"
I slammed the door shut as I heard her complain inside the door. Ugh this bitch. She thought I was joking. If only I could tell and slap her that I am not her cousin. If she doesn't want to answer, I'll just ask someone else.
When I got down from the building, I asked questions to those I met as to which road I was going to take. I followed a bit until not far away, I saw a restaurant with Seoul Kitchen name. Tila nagliwanag ang aking itsura and then go straight to the restaurant.
