Camp- What?

I wake up in an infirmary from Ancient Greek times. Am I dreaming or dead. I turn to see Maya...and Ellis, definitely not dreaming. "Quite the scratch you had." Ellis says. "You drool when you sleep."
    "Where am I?" I ask sitting up, ignoring Ellis's comment. I look at my arm expecting to see wrap or stitches but I'm completely healed. I look over and see a cup of golden liquid.

"Camp Halfblood." Maya chirps.
"Camp what?" I ask sitting up. I get a better look at her and notice something. She isn't wearing a beanie and her legs have been replaced with goat legs. "Your legs. You're part goat? A goat woman?" I say astonished.
"It's called a Sayter, you nymph." Ellis corrects.
"Definitely dead." I say.
"You're aren't dead, you almost died but you're not dead. This isn't the underworld."Maya said happily.
   "Underworld?" I'm even more confused.
   "What May is trying to say is that you're a demigod," Ellis explains.
   "Like in the myths with the Greek and Romans? But I'm not a demigod I'm just a normal girl. They don't exist!"
"If you weren't a demigod you'd never have gotten over the barrier." Ellis said examining her nails.
"Barrier?" I croak.
"Wow look now you get it." Ellis sarcastically says.
   "I'm going crazy," I said.
   "No you're not," Ellis said,
"I'll humor this. Say I am a demigod my mom is mortal." I say.
"You're dad?" Maya said raising an eyebrow.
That's right my dad was never in the picture but Michael had acted as my dad for so long I just associated him with it. My eyes widen. "How'd you know."
   "You're dads not in the picture, you have dyslexia and ADHD, you get in trouble quite often somehow and strange things happen sometimes," Ellis said,
    It was like she'd explained my whole life. "How'd you know?"
   "Because you're a demigod," Ellis said.
"Chiron wanted me to tour her once she was up," Maya cut in.
   Maya helps me to my feet. We walkout into a large camp from Greece. Just with cabins galore and each is differently decorated.
    "Be done by capture the flag." Ellis says to Maya as she walks away. "Looking forward to pummeling you newbie." She calls before disappearing into a crowd.
   Maya shows me each cabin and explains that my parent should claim me by the end of the day. Each one has very different kids. They all have similar features to the kids in their cabins. The only cabins that don't have kids are the first three and number twelve. Maya explains its because the big three Zeus, Poseidon and Hades mad a pack to never have kids. Of course they broke the pack and have children but they only had one each. She also explains that Hera's is empty because she, unlike most gods, chooses to stay faithful to her husband.
     We're walking to dinner when I see a few kids crowd a boy probably no more then 18.    
      "Who's that?" I ask. He kinda looks like me. Same eyes and hair color.
     "Percy Jackson. He's one of the greatest demigods of modern times." Maya says with awe.
      "What makes him so great?" I say a little harsh still watching him. There's a blond girl with him and a boy with brown hair high fiving him.
       "Saved Olympus twice and within 5 years too." She says.
      "His siblings must love him." I say sarcastically. At that Maya goes silent. "What?" I ask.
      "He doesn't have any demigod siblings. He's a child of Poseidon." She answers.
      "Oh." I say and sit with Maya. We eat dinner talking about certain things we like. Maya is really sweet. She talks all about being a Sayter.

     Mr.Brunner walks in. But not in a human way. His bottom half is that of a horse. "Is that Mr.Brunner?" I choke out.
   Chiron his real name is Chiron." Maya answers.
A man with a can of Diet Coke and a Hawaiian shirt stands up. He Welcomes us to camp for the summer session then explains capture the flag. Unlike in elementary school this sounds more like war. They divide the cabins in half then the only people left are me and another undecided named Jack. "I'll take them always need more on our team anyway." Says Percy. For the celeb everyone treats him as he seems actually really nice. We walk over and shake hands with Percy. At this close I notice more details. Similar smile, similar nose and even our head shape is similar.

   We join in and I get a sword and a small bit of armor. Sliding my helmet on I follow the rest of the campers on my team to the woods. We get 5 minutes of prep before the game.

    I'm on stream watch with Percy and another kid. I watch Percy take down kids left and right. They're mostly attacking him. Right as I watch Percy fight a kid from Aries I get tackled from the side. It's Ellis. She pushes me down into the stream. I fight back pushing her up trying to get her off of me. We back and forth for a bit. The water seeps through my shirt and I can feel the cool water. I feel energized and renewed. It gives me the strength to keep fighting. We then hear the cannon go off signaling my teams victory. Ellis gets up and brushes the dirt off.
    "Good job on staying in the fight," she compliments and I nod.
    I get up too myback is soaked. I go to high five Percy when a green light is casted over me. I watch Percy's face drain of color and kids around us take a knee. I look up to see a green trident. The symbol of Posideon.
