The walk back to the party felt like nothing; you swore it took you longer to get to the district than it took getting back. But than again, you were preoccupied at one point. Things probably would have turned out quite different if nothing had stopped you both- and you actually felt glad that nothing did happen, in the end. You felt yourself wanting to see how things would end up, wondering to yourself, what will become of whatever this is.

Before you left the district, Mikey bought two bottles of water, one for each of you, deciding to finally put an end to drinking and hydrate instead for the rest of the night. You normally didn't drink this much ever, but you hadn't let loose in a what felt like forever, so you didn't mind going a little crazier than usual every once in a while.

You finally turned onto your friend's street, spotting your car in the distance.

"Ah, I can't wait to grab my sweater from my car as soon as we get up there." you blurted out.

"Oh what, you should have told me you wanted a sweater! I would have given you mine, silly."

"Aw no that's okay, I'm not really cold, sometimes it's just a blanket of security for me. You know what I mean?"

He paused, standing there for a moment as he took his sweater off, putting it around your shoulders. You instantly lit up, this being the first time any male has lent you a piece of clothing before. You were so excited, you hugged yourself, rubbing your arms super fast, showing just how giddy you felt!

Mikey loved that, and started to giggle. You had no idea what to say. You looked up at him, him just knowing what you were thinking.

"It's no problem at all. Honestly, I'm happy to lend it to you."

"Thank you so much. No person other than my Sensei and my best friend has lent me anything before. But I consider them my family, so this is so... unknown for me. I don't know how to pay you back."

"Oh god, you don't need to pay me or do something in return, it's not like that. You're really sincere, aren't you?" he asked. You didn't know how to answer that question other than to stare in his eyes, hugging him as tight as you could manage.

You heard shouting in the distance, interrupting your one of a kind moment. You both looked at where the sound was coming from, a decent sized group of people were gathered outside on your friend's front yard, people chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

You instantly became alert, anxious to see what was taking place. Before even looking back at Mikey, you dashed forward, jogging to the crowd to make sure your best friend wasn't involved somehow. Mikey wasn't far behind you, him approaching from behind, on the right.

"What the hell are you idiots doing!" he yelled, seeing Draken, Takemichi and a hand full of other guys you have never seen before now, getting into a brawl. Takemichi's face was swollen and bloody, Mikey grabbing his shirt and pushing him to the side so he was out of the way.

"Kenny, mind filling me in on what's going on here?" he demanded, his stare fixed in the direction of the unknown group.

Someone else piped up instead, getting in Mikey's face. You instantly grew frustrated just at the sight. "While you were out getting your dick wet, your boys here thought it would be okay to rip beers off of us. Not to mention, they had the audacity to stick around when we showed up."

"YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!" Mikey yelled, his face absolutely raged. He was still in one moment, and in the next he swiftly hammer fist punched him in the face, the man sent flying sideways and falling to the ground. Was he defending your honour?
