"What's wrong with you,girl"Maddy asked feeling concerned.
"Just a slight headache...and a fever...come on...go to class...you're gonna be late"I said feeling weak.
"I'm worried about ya,Hailey"She said.
"No need to worry...i'm seriously fine...I can handle it, trust me"I assured.
"If you say so"She said with a frown on her face.
"I'm fine"
"Okay...bye...and take care of yourself...see you during lunch"She said waving as she turned to leave.
"Bye"
She turned back and gave me a tight hug."Be safe"She said.
"Maddy...you're the best BFF I could ever wish for"I said and she let go of me and then she turned to leave.
I smiled as I closed my locker. I turned back and I headed to class.

During lunch,
"So...you feeling better now?"She asked as we sat at our table.I placed my tray on the table and so did Maddy.
"Yeah,I guess"I shrugged.
"I really don't like your mood"She said.
"What happened to my mood?"I asked and she shrugged."I'm fine"I said.
"You're just saying that...you're not sure"She said and I smiled.
"Hailey!"A voice called drawing people's attention.
That jerk.
I turned back and I saw Lynn approaching our table.
What a dramatic jerk.
"How you doing,babe"He said as he sat beside me.
"Don't call me that"
"What?"
"Babe"
"Awww...you just called me babe"He said and I frowned.
"You're annoying"I said.
"I know"He winked and I rolled my eye.
"What's wrong with her?"He asked Maddy.
"Nothing"I said before Maddy could say a word.
"Whoa...calm your ass down,Hails"He said.
"Don't talk about-"
"Your ass?"He smirked."Pretty small, though"
Holy crap!
"She came up with a fever"Maddy said and I glared at her."He asked me"She said shrugging.
"You came up with a fever?Are you pregnant?Did you guys hook up?"
"Ew,shut up"
"Just saying"He smirked.
"Don't say"I frowned.
"Heartbreaker"He murmured.
Oh God.
"Can I-"
"Shut up!"
