"How was your meeting with the royal seamstress, Darling?" Gibson asked at dinner that night as he took a piece of asparagus off of her plate.

"It was quite lovely. Sienna was very polite and said she'll begin to work on the dresses as soon as she can," Guinevere said.

"So now that the wedding party, flowers, music, and outfits have been decided, what else is to be done?" Adam asked as he picked at his potatoes with his fork, looking as though he was bored and not very hungry.

"My dearest one and I have talked with the chefs and bakers about what will be served for dinner. We will start with an amuse-bouche, then there will be a dish for each bread, salad, and soup. Afterward, we will serve sorbet to cleanse the palate before the entree of pork and rice. That will lead us to the dessert of the cake."

"What's the cake going to be like?"

"Since we couldn't decide on just one cake flavor, we requested every option in a multi-layer cake."

"How many layers is this going to be?" Malina asked, a little concerned about the size of her cousin's wedding cake.

"Thirty-two layers. Each one will be a different flavor," Gibson calculated.

"Thirty-two layers for a single cake! Are you crazy!" Malina exclaimed in total shock.

"This cake needs to feed the entire town, so it has to be big!" Gibson snapped at her.

"How long will everything take to be ready for the wedding?" Adam asked, still bored and playing with his food.

"Sienna said that the dresses would take at least three months to make, the chefs and bakers said they would need at least two weeks to make all of the food, and the priest and painters are open any day," Guinevere replied.

"Then the wedding will be held as soon as the dresses are done. We shall start penning the invitations after dinner," Gibson proclaimed.

"So what do we do now that basically all of the preparations have been made for the wedding?" Malina asked, hoping that she would have something interesting to do for the next couple of months.

"Being the cousin of the future princess, you will have a full schedule with Doll Face for the next couple of months," Gibson answered.

Malina smiled and let out a sigh of relief, glad that she wouldn't be bored every day.

The next three months for Malina went by in a blink of an eye. Every day was entirely busy, and many days were almost the same until Sienna believed the dresses were completed and that a fitting needed to be done. Fortunately for both girls, their dresses fit like a glove, and they felt as though they were ready for the wedding.

...

"Good news! Both Malina's and my dresses fit perfectly and are ready for the wedding! Let's get married as soon as possible!" Guinevere exclaimed at dinner that night.

"And the royal chefs and bakers said that all of the food is ready for tomorrow. We shall be married tomorrow!" Gibson declared. Immediately after dinner, the messengers sent out the invitations for the wedding.
