The Trip

Your remaining days in Japan went by pretty quick. Bakugo didn't show up the next day to work, not like he really needed to anyways. You had more work because you're not as responsible as him and you let those reports accumulate.

So you thought instead of worrying and calling him which would just be bothersome to him, you focused on working and resting.

You met up with Inasa, Nagamasa Camie, and Seiji to say your goodbyes, since you didn't actually know how long you'd be gone. You didn't manage to meet up with any of your close U.A friends but you sent a small text with plans to meet up after.

"Party at my house, when u come back?"

"Nah, just yourself. A date if you want.
"Unless😏"

You smiled at the phone imagining the smirk and signature hand on his chin

"Just myself then. See you there!"

He narrowed his eyes at the screen, his heart dropped and didn't come back until the next text rolled in.

"I'm your friend. You can literally tell me anything."
"I'll help you hide a body if you need me to."
You

He chuckled to himself, he perfectly imagined you saying the first text in a completely serious tone and then adding in the second one with a smile, possibly sprinkling in some malevolent hand rubbing.He loved your humor, it could go from stupidly dark to infantile Kaminari level in a second.

"But you need to talk to me. I'm not physic and I'm not going to follow you around asking you if  you're okay"

You sighed and let the phone go, you sat up and hugged your knees to your body switching your focus on the TV show you wanted to catch up on.

Your phone buzzed, you read the message overview before opening up the chat.

"I'm sorry if anything I've done or said has bothered you, it wasn't my intention."
"I'll tell you, I promise. On the trip or before."
"I'll make it up to you"
