This is the sad ending so you can skip this one if you want

A white sea painted the city, entrances blocked by small mountains of snow, day to day things buried and hidden to the eye. The silence although haunting was actually a big relief

The battle was over, finally.

A deep breath came out of everyone's body, and tears rang free celebrating the victory

Pushing off chunks of ice Bakugo stood up, his breathing ragged but lazily returning to normal. He wasn't going to celebrate just yet, he needed to get rid of the nagging feeling first. Scarlet eyes scanned his surroundings before starting to move. He whinced when he stood up, a sharp pain punctuating his side, but nothing that was going to stop him

She couldn't have landed that far..

For a second he considered you being able to change forms last minute and that you maybe avoided the blast, but he doubted it. Then he thought that maybe he got up after you and you were just doing the same as he was right now

Searching for him

In his path he came across a flipped over bus, he ran up and jumped on top. Hissing when his wounds bled in complaint to the strain. He eyed the scenery again, he could see faint faces in the background of heroes and civilians, but they weren't you.

He hopped down, now holding on to his side because his lung felt like it was being pinched by his ribcage.

Come on, Y/n. I am not in the mood

Not long after that he found you

Slumped next to a lamppost which looked just as bent as you did. He ran over, worry clouding his mind making his heart beat faster.

"Y/n!"

The words barely came out almost stuck in his throat and the sound of your name was blurred and echoey

His stride hasted trudging through the thick floor of snow without minding the growing pain

Meekly you raised your head, "Kats.." you forced your eyes open giving him a wry smile.

"What are you smiling for?" He gently passed his hands to your back, freezing when he saw the hole and all the blood. Your body had made an outline where snow hadn't touched the surface and instead red painted it.

His eyes shaked as he brought your body closer to his, "I'm.. smiling 'cause I'm seeing you.." you let out, snapping him out of his shock.

He shook his head, refusing to believe the amount of blood was real.

"I don't think..." you whinced, breaking into a breath. "I make it out this time.."

"No! Shut up! You'll be fine." His voice cracked and he almost felt as if the words got stuck in his throat again. Katsuki looked up frantically searching for help.

Why? Why him? Why was he in this situation?

"I NEED A MEDIC!"

His voice rang out in a roar. Urgency plaguing every syllable

He heard a giggle, looking down he saw you smiling in a closed eye smile. Your nose scrunched like it always does and a tiny sliver of your teeth showing.

"Y/n.."

Your (e/c) eyes poked through again, you raised your hand to his face wiping away blood from his face with your thumb. "Did I ever tell you, that.. you always look handsome.."

Your voice was so weak, but it never lost it's upbeat tone. It wasn't fair. How come you weren't bawling? Why is there no sadness in your tone?

"You can tell it to me another day," he looked up again to shout for help. You grabbed his shirt, "It's okay.. Just look at me please.."
