The fall was euphoric, like a deep breath.

It was a blur too

One second you were free falling, the next you're wiping snow off to try and stand

You sighed in relief, somehow you landed just barely missing a stray ice stalgmagtie. "Missed me by that much buddy," digging your hands into a heap of snow to prop yourself up you hissed when you put weight on your right leg

So now hobbling and hopping when necessary you started heading towards sounds of people, mind racing as you tried to calm your heart. Just thinking about Katsuki, how much you just wanted to be in his arms and become mush in them

By some sort of luck you found him first, even in a sea of worn faces he stood out. The oranges in his suit popping in the grey and white background. Broad back strained against the material, heavy breaths painted muscular structure on the fitted microfiber of his suit. He was definitely alive so you could shoo away the bad thoughts, sure his suit was stained in red at his side and he had a big streak of blood covering most of his face but the fact that he was standing meant he was more than okay considering

"Katsuki!"

If he was a feline creature his ears would perk up, because it's your voice. Some would say annoying and if he was on a mean streak he'd say it but it was uniquely yours. Chirpy and loud like he loved, and most importantly you sounded okay

Turning on his heels he scanned the environment until he found you— again you hobbling over and him holding his side. The two of you met halfway, despite your wounds there was an eager hop into each other's arms.

You almost jumped into his arms he held on not toppling over with the two of you.

"We fucking did it,Kats"

You clung and fisted his shirt, holding him like there was no tomorrow. He reciprocated arms tight around your back squeezing you into him

"Yeah" He pulled back to have a proper look at your face, sure bloody and banged up but it's you grinning already like a complete dork-—his dork

"Got 'im good. Can't wait to drop dead in a good fucking bed" Katsuki said you nodded in agreement, wiping his brow. "Agreed"

He smiled earnestly, there was no words to describe the ecstatic feeling of having you in his arms. His heart wanted to jump out of his throat and dance. You smiled back, just so happy that you two were alright. Any future problems or missions seemed so tiny because of that, if you had made it out of this one the rest wouldn't be any trouble. You had each other and that's the only constant you needed

You buried your head into his chest, "I don't wanna know about winter or snow for a year!" You practically whined muffled into his chest and he'd be lying if he said he didn't share the sentiment
