~Your POV~
Your light blue gown gracefully floated around you as your white heels resounded through the ballroom floor. Everyone paused to look at the stunning princess of the land they were currently on make an entrance. You maintained your well-trained perfect smile all throughout, until you reached to your parents and gave the crowd a curtsy.
The room burst into applause for you, and you waved at them all. After all, this was a party thrown in your honour- It was your birthday. You had turned 18, and this was the time your parents allowed you to be courted by men from other kingdoms who looked for a princess.
Suitor after suitor approached you, but you weren't interested at most of them. They were either way too old, or way too young. At one point you were so bothered by a 10 years old prince asking for your hand, but you knew this was a normality in royalty. But you turned him down either way. And a 32 years old man asked too. But you refused, this man was practically twice your age. He could be your father.
After hours, the crowd had more dances, and you decided a little walk on the gardens wouldn't hurt. You quietly left the party, and no one noticed you were missing.
You sat in a garden bench with a sigh, slouching a bit; a habit that would get your mother scolding you for hours. You patted your cat, Rianna, who had been sitting on the bench peacefully. This cat seemed to know your routine, leave a party to sit out until it was late, spending time with your cat.
Your absent-mindedly looked at your white gloves pat Rianna's white fur, reminding you why those suitors were so eager to get you.
Your powers.
Having ice powers were both a blessing and a curse, as you didn't have full control over it yet. Your parents didn't have this power, so they couldn't teach you. In fact, there was no one other than you having these type of powers known to man. Your parents had announced it to the world hoping for better relations and connections, which they received, but they didn't realize the burden they had placed on their daughter.
