You hated the famous life. It was rather depressing.

You sighed as you went through old pictures of you and Eren on a photo album, hastily wiping your tears in silence.

With fame came the sacrifice. You didn't want to leave Eren, your really didn't. But your parents didn't give you much of a choice as soon as you got famous.

"No, (Y/N). You aren't going to talk to that child again. He's not good for the public, see?"

You didn't get it, and you still don't. You wanted, no, NEEDED Eren. You still haven't stopped longing for him either.

"Mother... Can I at least text Eren?"

Your phone got confiscated that week, and your accounts monitored. What was wrong with maintaining your friendship with him, your bestfriend?

You looked out of the huge balcony you were sitting at, and decided to sit at the spacious railings as you have done many times before.

"I miss you," you whimpered quietly as you watched the scenery, tears streaming down your cheeks.

It had been three years since you two last talked, three years too long. You longed for his embrace, his affectionate but weird habits, and his supportive whispers each day.

"Can you hear me crying out for you?"

You murmured, as if writing a new song. One that would never be published, because your songs were supposed to be happy and uplifting. Not a rant.

You'd decided you'd had enough.

You trekked back to your room, beginning to dress casually, ensuring not to put on any type of make-up like you often did. Without it, most of your fans couldn't even recognize you.
