Of flames and lighting

Kyriak turned as someone called her name, "kyriak! Be careful, don't let anyone push you around, okay? Feel free to play and test out those new toys of yours! I know you want too"

"Okay, Mr. Giant!" she grinned.

"I am not a giant! You're just tiny! Pipsqueak! Remember everything I taught you in there and you be fine"

She nodded, the googles on her head threatening to fall off her vermillion-coloured hair. She blew a strand on her messily cut fringe out of her eyes as a hand patted her head. She looked up toward Thorin, his brown eyes meeting her sliver ones as he crutched before her. "Do me proud squirt" he spoke in a soft tone.

She nodded, before throwing her arms around his figure knocking him to the ground. "Will do papa" she muttered into his chest before standing up an innocent childlike grin on her face. Her traditionally Japanese Geta clattering on the rocky path as she took her first steps towards the hunter exam.

She wore a navy-blue flowery kimono, which had a short shirk giving her legs free movement but really long arms, completely covering the tips of her fingers by a long shot. The right side had an armour plate covering the breast for when she was using a bow while the left slipped off her shoulder so that it in an emergency, she could remove that arm from the selves completely.

The breast plate as well as the obi around her small waist was the same black to grey colour, suiting her sliver eyes and vermillion red hair that was in two pony tails as the base of her neck.

Around her neck and disappearing into the material of her kimono was a chain connecting to the small bird she created such a long time ago.

"If you pass, I have a surprise for you when you return!" papa yelled, giving her a wave before backing into his forge.

She grinned as she skipped all the way to the start of the hunter exam.

She looked about in awe as she stepped into the dark tunnel – this she was told – was the start of the exam. And from the looks of it she was one to the last to arrive, molten sliver hues scanned the other participants before her attention turned towards the men bean like man as he stepped towards her.

"Here's your badge, keep it on you at all times" he stated passing her a 350 badge.

She nodded shyly passing the badge above her chest plate before slipping into the crowd, her eyes darting about in wonder taking it all of the sights (mainly who has what weapons). "Oi little girl!" a voice growled drawing her out on her thoughts.

"Yes?" she questioned with an innocent smile head tilted slightly in what would be called a cute fashion.

"You should go home; this isn't something for little kids to play about. It's a battle field - life and death situation girly"

Kyriak was silent as she turned towards the male. He was tall and armoured, but he wasn't that strong... that much she could tell, who else tries and picks a fight with a kid?
