chapter 19

Gon turned back to the box, "right one down two to go"

It left the ring and the memory card.

"I have to admit, I know nothing of computers" kyriak stared dumbly at the memory card.

"Its smaller than usual? Does it have exclusive hardware?" gon question also looking at the memory card. Gon, country pumpkin gon seeming to know more than her when it came to technology.

"Huh?" you've never seen a J.S?" killua looked baffled at the clueless faces before him.

"J.S?" questioned both gon and kyirak.

Killua picked up the card, "this is a memory card for a game console. It's called the joy station."

With the bombshell dropped, killua dragged the pair out of the house (after a bite to eat and telling aunt Mito they were heading to town) to the local library. Killua explaining, they wouldn't want anyone to track them to Mito house.

Killua's fingers tapped on the keyboard. As they searched the web for information, well just killua was. Both gon and kyriak watching the boy work. "Toyland is an online database of you stores. Tell it what we want and it's given us a list of closest stores to us along with reviews and such" kyriak nodded listening with confusion, "like if we wanted something for cheap, it'll sort the list out by price."

A few more clicks on the board, the computer whirling as it worked. "One joy station and a memory card for the same day delivery... oh god they got some!"

"But..." gon started staring intently at the screen. "How do we find out what game this is? There's nothing written on it. We can't play without software, right?"

"Game..." kyirak muttered fingers twitching. She really wanted to play a game now... maybe killua would be interested in playing a game? "Can we play a game?"

Gon and killua froze before turning to the female. Maybe they should be careful were their words. "Sure!" gon grinned, "we play rock paper scissors!" he added explaining the rules to the female, who pouted but nodded nevertheless. Killua looked reviled when the female agreed to play a normal game, and let out a breath he held in as gon won the game of rock paper scissors.

The female pouted even more as she lost, "what's the forfeit?"

"Forfeit?

"the punishment coz I lost,"

Gon thought for a moment, before a checky monkey like grin grew. Killua felt a chill run down his spine noting the other young teen eyes flicker towards him. Gon leaded forward, whispering into the vermillion girls' ears. The skin changing to a pinkish colour.

Kyriak felt her heartrate speed up as gon told her forfeit for losing. She glanced at killua, the blush overtaking her checks as she stared at the slivernette who was glaring suspiciously at his best friend.

She took a deep breath moving quickly leaning down towards the slivernette.

Killua blinked in surprised as something soft and warm planted itself on his check for a seconded before moving away. Saphire hues snapped towards sliver ones as the pair turned deep beetroot red.

As reality struck.

Gon looked please between his two friends, please his plan had worked! He would have to tell aunt Mito about the development. Him and his aunt were rooting for the pair. She'd even gave the idea of the innocent kiss.

Killua coughed, face normal but the tips of his ears were still stained red whereas kyriak was looking anywhere but the two boys face. Killua coughed again, the boy glancing from a grinning gon to a red faced kyirak, trying to return to the situation at hand, "you guys really haven't played videogames before, have you? A rare breed of kids"

"I break them..." kyirak admitted weakly her eyes turning towards the Geta on her feet turning her mind back to the first videogames she'd played and not to what had just happened... how was she supposed to know that it was real, and she couldn't use her actually sword in the game instead of a fake one the game provided.

It didn't take long of the game station and memory card to arrive, she over killua shoulder as the group locked at the TV screen having set up the PlayStation and place the memory card it. She slumped over the slivernette, glancing at killua at she did, only to freeze as killua turned towards her, faces inches away from each other.

She couldn't help as the reddish spread as her mind flickered back.

Killua couldn't help but glanced downwards towards her lips, remembering the feeling of her lips on his cheek. Internally wondering how her lips would feel on his own. He blinked, pushing the thoughts away he in turned back towards the loading screen.

The group turned to the screen as the file loaded up, it seemed like the memory card contained only one game. A game that's filled it completely up.

Greed island.

"Greed island..." she muttered as killua attempted to copy the game... "Greed island."

Why it sounds familiar? She frowned, thinking back. Usually, she would shrug it off but it was important to gon and it made her stop thinking about THAT. Gon and killua glanced at the female, the latter noticing the stream producing from her ears.

The slivernette raised a brow as the younger teen wracked her brains were to think we're she heard the name before.

"AHA!" she jumped to her feet pointing to the screen, a memory coming to her mind, her papa had told her about a game greed island. An island with some materials one could use in crafting if you could find a way to smuggles the items away. "it's a hunter game! A game solely for hunters!"

"Ehhhh?!"
