Chapter 9

Shinsou found himself in a dilemma. 

He knew his friends won't hurt him but he couldn't just the negative possibilities and 'what ifs' flowing through his head. Trauma is still trauma and this one hit him bad.  He found himself dressed and ready to go as he stared at his full-body mirror in his room.

"I hope this isn't excessive...", Shinso mumbled to himself. He pulled out his phone to check the time and found out it was 6:55 pm. 'To think I overslept...' He thought 'I should get going I am late!' With that, he zoomed out of the house shouting a quick goodbye to his parents that were not around. He was too much in a rush to reason that.

He hitched a ride and went to the destined place, the old park in their city. It was a place, that Yosōijō had revealed to be one of her favourite places to chill. it ended up being a place where the trio go to hang out.

Arriving at the destination, He was met by Rei at the front of the park. 

"Yo! Shinso-Kun You look good", Rei said with his eyes a little wide from surprise. Shinso's face heated up a little as he looked away saying, "You too and it's nice to see you Rei." 

[Just the costume is needed, Rei's character is still from the picture of the previous chapter]

Rei gave a wide smile and grabbed Shinsou's right hand, dragging the to the direction of their usual spot "Come on, let's not keep the others waiting" 

" Others?!", Shinsou blurted out in fear and shock as his eyes widened with panic. He looked around frantically for any signs of suspicious people and started jerking his hand out of Rei's grip.

' I knew I should be more careful. are they going to hurt me like them? Maybe I should use my quirk. I can't believe_' Shinsou was cut off from his mental ramble when he felt warm arms wrap around him. It seemed he had tears rolling down his face.

Rei pats his head as he whispered comforting words. When everything had finally settled and Shinsou had come to his senses,  he pushed Rei away and started walking in the direction of their usual spot. Rei paused confused by Shinsou's actions when he heard Shinsou's voice saying, "Yo Rei, are you coming, you were meant to lead me somewhere."
