Venn Diagrams

What makes a Venn Diagram;
What holds it together?
Who draws the lines and forces it into existence?
Who writes the differences, yet the middle they say what is the same?

The person who draws us in, is the same one - but we went to a different program.
We both went through a different pressure.
As Diagram lines drew darker, these things were distanced.
As this Venn Diagram got bigger - I began to feel shame.

I grew with the cons as well as the pros.
The lists were long but like Diagrams, it helped.
I had a short list - but I want to say she liked what she learned.

Though she didn't need to, because her list now lays complete.
I am reminded again how I will never be as whole.
The man who drew the lines said it was to help - though that's how HE felt .
She insists he stop using the pen before it tears the paper - and to my surprise he had - but the damage is done as far as I'm concerned.

Now, I must deal with the physical distance.
She leads with a good life.
While I feel like I'm slowly going insane.
There it is- the Diagram again.

It's not her fault - I'm learning this particular Venn Diagram should never have been in existence.
It was through the - man - who - drew - it's -eyes.
But at the same time, I can't go to him to complain.
It's a lesson I'm slowly learning to gain.
