Oh my dear readers - Once I Had A Dream
Of people with high society that threw a party and it gleamed.
All around were chefs & wine; of laughter & expensive dress.
Of money and dance and seemed without the regret;
Of a big house with lots of objects;
Of people who got what they want - without so much of a request.

For whatever reason, I was here - much to my expense!
Oh my loves - how they laughed and pointed;
Of the clothes that I possessed!
Everything at this party - I hated, I loathed.
Why then, was I there?
They found little things of me to compare.
All of their faces & smiles & fingers & words & white dresses.
All of them vile on the inside but look pretty and fair.

But my wonderful people - beware!
My anger has led to a scene change!
I was someone else entirely - angry and deranged,
Yet my coolness remained.
There I was, a completely different person
Stalking my way through their kitchen.
In addition - gone were my clothes I wore, for I seemed to be dressed to blend in.
In a black and white suit as one of the staff's.

I was quick, sneaky, and elusive
Almost like a magician
No one noticed me
For in this dream, I felt free.
I knew exactly what I picked up without even seeing.
It was covered in a pristine white towel to remain a mystery for all at this gastly party.

Oh my darlings - I remember this well.
What I picked up was a nice long knife
And along, I found myself stride.
But alas! Scene change again.
Never know what to find but the dream sure did.
Two fair ladies from the party before
Wrapped in two equally tight white dresses
Were relaxing on white benches - by the outside pool.

They seemed to be in a deep sleep laying down, as they never heard me walking -
And everyone in the party were inside talking.
As graceful as I knew how, I dropped to one knee near one.
And I pierced the blade through her stomach!
In the middle of the day.
She never woke up nor did she ever make a sound
I did this a few times - the number I lost count.
Soon I did the same to her friend
Both of them had cursed me to no end!

In this dream my friends - I felt everything.
To be able to feel anything at all in a dream, is a very eerie thing.
I felt the moment when the blade went through organs.
Whether they were big or small
It all bled out.

I think I loved this part more -
Just watching the blood, transfixed by how it stained the white dress as it poured.
Blood, so deep so red in color - against something so bland.
If I had my way in this dream, the more blood I'd demand.

But Alas! The dream wasn't over yet
For I had to erase a certain set of fingerprints.
No-one saw me no-one had a clue.
After I wiped the knife, I guess that's when my mind had me withdrew.

Back into the waking world
So for a Halloween story - if this scared you;
You can find little old me
And leave a review!
