Tony Stark Has a Soulmate?

"I'm basically a walking broadway musical!"

⚠️Trigger warning!⚠️⚠️Y/n starts so panick while getting ready, if this makes you uncomfortable then please don't read.⚠️

"Wait so you're going for coffee?" Hilary asked as she pulls out of the Stark tower parking lot.

"Yeah, like in an hour so hurry up and get me home so I can shower and change!" You say, urging her to drive faster. You're very nervous and Hilary can tell.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine, I promise. He will love you and you'll love him. I mean you kind of have to, it's destined." You both chuckled at the last part, trying to calm down from all of the excitement of the night before.

After you had agreed to coffee, you told Tony that you didn't have any clothes there that would fit the purpose and that you would have to run home to get changed. After you agreed upon a coffee shop and time to meet at, you left the building with Hilary, which brings you to now. "I'm just nervous you know. Like, I never expected to actually find my soulmate, let alone him be THE Tony Stark!" You say, your stress shining through in your voice as you run your fingers lightly over the initials etched into your skin.

"I know, but it will be okay, I promise." She reassured, rubbing your arm. "Oh yeah, how are you feeling after last night? I'm so sorry I wasn't there with you."

"I'm okay, I'm just a little shaken up. I'm just glad it didn't go as far as last time, ya know." You say, you really were starting to feel a little better. Sure you weren't yet healed from the first time it happened, but you were getting there. You just decide to look at it as a bump in the road of recovery. 'Ew. That was the cheesiest thing I've ever thought!' You thought, shaking your head as you cringed at yourself.

You got home and immediately went to your room as Hilary followed behind you. You threw your closet door open and started rummaging through your clothes.

As you continue to rummage, your head fills with worries and you start spitting them at a mile a minute, "What do I wear? What do I say? What is he gonna say? What if he doesn't like me? What if I don't like him? What if he thinks I'm weird? What if I think he's weird? What if I annoy him, you know I never shut up once you get to know me? And you also know that I sing every time I hear something remotely close to a song lyric! I'm basically a walking Broadway musical! Oh my god what if he hates musicals-"

"Y/n! Stop! You're freaking yourself out and couldn't even understand half of what you said, you were talking so fast. Just take a breath, look at me, in 1,2,3, out 1,2,3." she exaggerated her breathing so that you could mimic it easier.

Eventually, with the help of Hilary of course, you picked an outfit and left the room to shower before getting dressed. You had picked a dark green, long sleeved, button up shirt, some black jeans, and a belt.

You blowdried and brushed your hair, deciding to leave it down. You put on some mascara and a bit of concealer before leaving the bathroom to get Hilary's opinion.

She smiled as you walked into your bedroom, "you look great Y/n." She said genuinely before getting up to hug you. "It'll be okay, you're going to go see him and get to know him a little better, that's all. Don't worry too much about the future." She comforted as she saw you getting a little anxious, she always knew exactly what to say to calm you down.

"Thanks Hilo, you're the best." You hugged her again before you both left the house, getting into separate cars as she went home and you went to meet up with your soulmate.
