Rays from the sun scattered across the body of the young girl, as a yawn escaped from her. Her mind was all over the place that moment as she remembered what happened last night. They usually acted like that a lot but that night felt different. Well to Davina it felt different but she did not know how JJ felt about it.

Rubbing her eyes she saw the boy sleeping next to her. His blonde hair was a mess, his face was half in graves into the pillow, the light from outside lit up his bare back defining his muscles which was a pleasure to see in the morning for Davina. The swinging motion caused Davina to stop staring at the boy in front of her and focus on the brown haired boy that just walked out of his room. John B walked out saying a good morning to the girl who looked like she did not want to be up at this time. Davina responded with a good morning as well, slowly making her way out of bed to follow John B outside.

When standing up Davina could still feel the heat created from where she skidded last night. Little shoots of pain would run across the surface of her skin if she moved quickly. Maybe it was a realisation for her that she should never go out on her bike when there is a storm. Would she listen to those thoughts though. No. Where was the fun in life if you did not have a little risk.

"Yo, JJ, you been outside?" John asks JJ slapping his leg at the same time.

"I have polio, bro. I can't walk."

"Have you been outside." John B repeats the question for Davina.

"Does it look like I have." Davina asks John B with a little bit of sarcasm in her voice. "No of course I haven't."

John B just stared at the girl not amused walking towards the door leaving the girl standing there by herself. The girl attempted to quickly follow right after him.

The storm had done a lot of damage, branches were scattered across everything, the tree had completely fallen down, furniture was lying on the ground all covered in mud. This place was a wreck. Davina started to wonder if her house was even still standing. She would have not been surprised if it had fallen to pieces.

Davina makes her way to help John B pick out all the twigs from the boat. She had a bit of a limp to her walk which did not go unnoticed by the boy.

"What did you and JJ do." John questioned the girl whilst she stared at him confused.

"What do you mean what do we do. We didn't even do anything."

"Then why are you limping."

"First of all get your head out of the gutter. Second of all you made that rule of no pogue-on-pogue macking. Third of all I was riding on my bike and I fell off and skidded all across your garden." Davina told the boy laughing to herself at the fact that the boy thought that her and JJ had done something together.

"Yeah but you two don't care about rules I'm not judging if you guys did anything. We know that you guys are like in love with each other." John B replied back to her.

"We are not in love we are just best friends. I can give you evidence that I actually skidded across the garden." Davina retorts.
