Rain was crashing down on the whole island. The world had gone silent like no one was left on the planet. Trees stopped howling. Thunder stopped booming. It was just rain pouring down. It was like the harsh rain was hiding the incidents that occurred.

The dark grey skies had set the mood of all the young teenagers that had just heard the news of their best friends. You could see the devastation and grief that settled on all of their faces whilst tears slowly dripped down their broken faces. They all were acting like a characteristic of grief.

Pope denial,
JJ anger,
Kie bargaining,
Davina acceptance.

That was what was different about all of them, that's why they made such a good group, none of them were the same. Wether they were like Pope who took time to process things or like Davina who would immediately accept what has happened. Even if they all handled something differently they would still be there for each other.

Something like this though would change the group completely. It would leave a scar on their hearts for the rest of their life's. You're probably wondering what happened that caused them to feel this way. The only way to find out is to go back to the start of summer.

The sun was blazing down on the island. The nature that surrounded it was full of life. Birds were chirping, flowers had blossomed, trees stood tall and the sky was a perfect shade of blue. It may have looked worse on the cut but it still had this prettiness to it that only a Pogue could understand. No matter what side of the island you were on it still seemed beautiful.

Just most of the people on that island would prefer to be on figure eight. It's all to do with money there and that's what everyone loves. They say that money doesn't buy you happiness but when you can buy Spotify premium I think that happiness has already been bought. That would be a dream come true if you were from the cut like Davina.

Davina was one of the Pogues that struggled, she was not equipped with money. Well she used to be but things in life change and sometimes they aren't good changes. This is how come Davina is found lying on her little houses porch this early in the morning just because of her fathers death. After her fathers crash her life went downhill, she went from having a decent house on figure eight to a dirty, messy house on the cut. She went from having a great connection with her mom to the worse connection with her ever. She went from having kook friends to losing them but she wasn't exactly worried about who she used to be friends with. All she cared about were the people that had been her best friends since she was a child.

John B, JJ, Pope and Kie had been there for her, her whole life. JJ being her very first friend had its flaws but no matter what they went through everything together. They were so inseparable it was like they couldn't be apart for over more than 24 hours. They would help each other out with anything. I mean that's what happens when you form a friendship at 4 years old. The only way they have got through things is with each other. That's how both of them are here up to this day.
