"Fear doesn't shut you down, it wakes you up," ~Divergent.
That's can be true. It's either that or the complete opposite, it does shut you down. Fear is quite a funny thing. I'm not sure how fear would affect me, I haven't really faced real fear yet as I am only sixteen.

By real fear I don't mean the clammy hand nervousness or being apprehensive. I mean the fear that can cause anxiety and panic. I guess nervousness can cause that but I mean like serious panic, where everything is almost impulsive, where- once again- your mind either shuts down or wakes up.

Now that I think about it, I may have come somewhat close to that kind of fear. Since I have claustrophobia, it causes that kind of fear. Though I'm still not sure how I would react. When I go into the panic frenzy, I instantly tense up, get teary eyed, get light headed, and my breath shortens. Literally all I can think is pretty much two things: everything (or everyone) is getting too close and get out. So that's pretty much what I do, find a way to get out. Well not really find a way out. I just kind of do it without really thinking about it. I just find a somewhat of an open space and/or shove everyone out of the way pretty rudely without really meaning to.

So what do you think I do or would do? Wake up or shut down? Or both?  And what do you think you do? Please let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear/read your thoughts on this.
